There is another location close to this one on Section Line. Use it. Customer service and appreciation is way better.

I have multiple accounts at Arvest. I usually do everything at the Conway branch, which has the best customer service. This branch has the worst customer service! I had a bad experience with them last fall and swore I would never go back in there but I was back in Hot Springs last week and wanted to make a deposit. There was only one drive through open and after waiting on the truck in front of me send the tube back and forth a few times I drove around and walked in the lobby. There were three tellers and some other people in the surrounding offices. I was the only customer and I was told nicely that it would be a moment. One person was waiting on the drive through and everyone else was “busy” but not busy waiting on customers. I waited a few minutes but was in a hurry. I’m not sure what they were doing but people walking in to conduct banking business (what you do in a bank) should be a priority. If you have poor customer service and you lose customers, you lose business.

Wasn't allowed to cash out my work check. The same work check that I've been getting for almost a year now. Was told that maybe other branches did it because they knew me, but this one wouldn't because apparently they don't know me. Apparently they can't just go in and check to see that all the other checks cleared. I'll make sure to close my accounts with this bank and go somewhere else because they "don't know me" or value me as a customer.

We went here to refinance the wife's brand new vehicle. They hard hit the credit score, came back with an offer that was, in their words, good for 30 days. Had problems getting ahold of them after that. It was very hard to get a call back and when we did, they always had to check with someone else and get back. Then when my wife went to sign the paperwork, they changed the offer on their contract. We had paid off a previous 2 year personal loan with them in 6 months also. We will never do any financing with this horrible business again. And I with advise everyone to avoid this place also.
Here is an update:
After this post, I got a call from arvest. They said that they would get ahold of the people that ok the loans and get this straightened out. Well after a couple days, they still catfished on their original offer and stayed with the offer that no one in their right mind would take. This place knows nothing about standing by your word. We still have a small account there, but use another bank for our main business. I will never take out a loan with these untrustworthy people. I also wouldn't advise anyone else to either.

I did a refinance with them. They were ill-informed and lied throughout the process. I paid 4X the amount promised up front. I also have two other mortgages serviced by them and they can't even manage the escrow accounts for those loans.

This is the worst bank in the world. So everyone knows this bank is owned by Walmart and was started as a "pet project" because they had too much revenue and needed to diversify. When they first opened it was great because they have extended hours and features other banks did not. However, what has happened is the corporate oversight has made it so their employees are basically robots. They have set scripts of what they can and cannot say. In addition, they have gone to a lending model that makes it impossible for a middle class person to get a loan. Additionally, they routinely grant loans to individuals on SSI and Disability because they have found a way to garnish these items even though they are supposed to be protected under federal law. I strongly suggest anyone that is at this bank or looking for a new bank to seek out a true local bank. This is not!

I had car repairs to pay for, and the ladies were cheerful, kind and sympathetic.
Of course I know I can always count on MY bank for MY needs.
