It took months to complete my father's basic 2022 state and federal taxes and his estate was still charged $299 for the prep fee. Taxes that were due in April 2023 were filed in August 2023. Not even any apologies - just a $299 bill - months later - and only after I kept pinging their partner - American Wealth Management about it.
