Not at all happy. This branch is a Shared Branch with a Washington Credit Union some of my guys Union deposits funds into when he works up that way, which is only occasionally.
If I have a valid ID n the account information I was able to access it. We don’t get those deposits often. Just got a letter saying we have $1200 in there. Great timing for Christmas. THIS branch won’t help you. No matter what correct information you have. Now I need to order a debit card from the out of state sister branch n then wait up to 3 weeks to get what they have on their system or drive 30-60 minutes to the next branch. It costs them nothing to perform the service and would only go to bolster their sad reviews for poor customer service. Another example of it may be a small town but it’s no longer a small town vibe.

I had a business account with this place but ended up moving my money out. unpleasant to work with and not helpful. Last straw was getting a call to sign to finalize a loan that they said they approved and then getting there and finding out they didn't approve. Not mad so much I didn't get the loan at the time but that they told me that everything was good and come to sign when that was not true. A simple sorry would of gone a long way but instead they were annoyed with me. lots of other banks out there would not recommend this one.

I've had an account with First US for many years and have found them to be helpful, respectful, and honest. I feel good knowing that I'm not supporting the evil big banks and that, when I have to go into the branch, I'm likely to see Telly who's worked there since I joined.
A few years back, someone hacked my bank account and they were very helpful, accepting my claim and reimbursing me. I was able to rebuild my credit using a First US secure credit card. I also opened my first business bank account here. Oh, yeah. We go way back (*smile*). I feel sorry - and surprised - for anyone who has ever gotten poor service there. I can't imagine what happened. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones.
My only critique is that the Grass Valley branch is too small. It's not set up very well, considering how long the line can get, especially now, with Covid and social distancing. But I appreciate them taking it seriously and putting safety first. Hopefully, once the pandemic is over, they'll get a bigger space.

I chose to bank here after Bank of the West shut down my account for no reason. First US people were super patient while I got my paperwork together and kept correspondence while I was working on it. The teller that set up my account was very friendly.

I have tried to work with First US 3 times now since the new year. Twice for business checking and once for auto loan. All three times I have received terrible customer service in the branch. They need to work on greeting customers better along with scanning the line to make sure that knowone is getting skipped like i did this last visit. When I went into the Auburn branch to open a business checking the teller acted completely overwhelmed and told us that this was the absolute worst day to do this for her. Still we stayed to see if she could help us and she made sure to tell us we were missing information needed to open up a checking account which I felt since it was such a horrible day for her to be doing this it was easier for her to send us away to "get more documents" than to just help us. The customer service has tanked in the Auburn and grass valley branch. They lost our business for good. We were able to go into another bank and take care of both business checking and auto loan with out any hassle or needing extra documentation.

Called ahead to confirm I could open a checking account on my lunch break, "yes" was the answer. Waited in a line of 6 people for 10 minutes so they could tell me I have to set up an appointment next week to open a checking account because it's the "1st of the month"...how is that relevant? A bank incapable of opening an account because it's the 1st... So strange, is this how a bank operates? Please inform customers properly when they call ahead to arrange things ahead of time.
