STAY AWAY GO ELSEWHERE!!! Times got hard and I had to borrow a loan. I was referred by a loved one to this place and it has been the worst decision I have ever made! The 1st time I borrowed I was told it would automatically be deducted from my bank account. 2 days passed and nothing. I call and them and they say "it is courtesy to get the okay from our customers first before we go ahead and charge the bank". Fine. 2nd time I only get 1 week to pay the loan, and unfortunately I am unable to make the payment, and I was unable to answer my phone because I am at work. I decide I will go in person the next day to extend my loan to the next pay period and I am okay if I am a charged a fee since this was my fault and I am unable to pay when I said I would. I call them and the "manager" says it has been posted to my bank since I did not answer the phone and they called me twice. Based on my first encounter and how I was told that it was "courtesy to call our customers first to get the okay before we charge", I assumed everything was going to be fine. Unfortunately I was at work and could not answer the phone, their website says they close at 6, I called before 6 and there was no answer or way to leave a voicemail. I understand this is my fault, my responsibility, however, I am paying a $50 fee for borrowing $250 so it's not really a favor, I am paying for this loan and your services. The way the "manager" spoke to me after I told him I would put a hold on the payment with my bank was so condescending. One, he spoke to me like I was a child, and 2, he made it seem like it was more of a "favor" and how they "don't charge fees" and how they aren't like "money tree who charges at 1pm" (they don't by the way they charge by 5pm if you don't call and if you call, you get a free 2 week extension) it just overall sucked! It was my fault for borrowing from such a low end place and I hate that I was ever in the position to have to borrow from such a cheap "checks cashed" loan place. I 100% recommend Money Tree over this and I mean it when I say stay away, trust me you will regret it. The so called "manager" threatened with my credit, and continued to say that this was all my fault, and did not offer a way to settle this misunderstanding which begins with the first time I borrowed when he said it was courtesy to get "the okay from our customers before we charge". I was acting based on what I was told the first time, I am not a child, be consistent with what you say and advertise. I hate that I am leaving a bad impression on the person who recommended me, and I hate more that I am leaving a bad impression at this place as well because I do have a career, I pay my bills, times fell hard and I had to borrow from this place and I regret it so much! Definitely going with money tree next time!

Can't get help till first... I honestly loaned before but now with Christmas, car breaking down they refused to help this grandma trying to raise grandchildren without their deceased mother.. . Shouldn't have given them l star just pitiful.....

Great place to cash your check. Everyone here is very nice and they will try their best to help you. Ive been using their Check Cashing & Payday Loans services from last 3 years and I'll keep coming back.

Just got back from there last year they told me I was registered on the computer didn't have to show my ID , now i do have to show my ID when I don't have it , and I can't get it no more because DmV is closed what a shame

Worst customer service. Rude, impatient and overall unfriendly. My payroll check is from a very large payroll company, TriNet, with a 4.9 billion dollar revenue. So to say it’s a large and well known payroll company would be an understatement. The first time she called to verify my check she called the fax number and told me it was a fax line. After insisting there must be another number to verify on the check she found it, called, got flustered because there was a long line behind me and told me she couldn’t help me that she had tried twice. (The first try being the fax number that she incorrectly called). Clearly being able to verify the check is an error on her part seeing as how large the payroll company is and she just didn’t want to deal with it because of the line behind me that I had just waited in for 20 minutes. Just moved to the area and hadn’t cashed here before but they definitely won’t be getting my business in the future.
