Pretty much wasted my time. Talked to Sandra after One Main had me upload all my documents (2 full days) to tell me my 6k loan can't be approved. Reason is out of state registration. Everything else just fine but they won't deal with a perfectly good vehicle that is registered out of state. They also only do predatory lending 35% interest is considered predatory and specialize in loans with collateral for people with bad credit. Won't offer predatory 35% loan unsecured with lower amount to people with bad credit. They make most money off of the collateral loans. Also, the percentage is still 35% with the collateral. They really stick it to you with the collateral and percentage. It's probably good I didn't get stuck with this loan. Waste of time and money just needed some help to get by for the month and this is not the place.

I’ve been a client for one main financial for years, during my transactions they always been helpful and They are very professional, and well communicative. The customer service used to be great! Peter and the other team member was amazing. however today one of the team member JOSE was ruining not only my day but the whole great opinion that i have for one main. the moment i called the branch and he picked up with the Rudest tone like he doesn’t want to be there. then i talked about some of my arrangements on my account and issue for payment this month . he took the whole conversation by being not only unprofessional but also he made so many absurd response and comments about my personal life. first time ever one of the employee made me feel degraded and humiliated. he was not only try his best to not being helpful but also purposely make you feel unsafe having financial conversation with him.

OneMain Financial is a great company. I have used them twice. They are very professional, helpful and communicative. They were understanding during Covid which is very important. The customer service is great! Peter was great in answering my questions and explaining my options. It is great working with them. I will always consider them for my financial needs.

This place will say you qualified for 10k and make an appointment to come in and sign the loan, so they can call you two days later, and tell you we can’t help you. I guess is a sale strategy, but it’s very unprofessional or maybe they just like to play.. There’s better company’s and more professional ones out there. Don’t waist your time..

My experience with the company was overall positive, I used to love talking to their specialist they were always so helpful. It took a turn for the worse when Jose joined the team as a customer service representative. Jose's conduct was unacceptable - he was not only rude but also condescending. It appears that the branch does not provide sufficient customer service training to its employees. If calls are recorded, as is the case in most businesses, the company should either provide Jose with proper training or terminate his employment, as he is not fit to handle customer inquiries. It would be ideal for management to review his calls to assess his performance, as he is the worst of the worst. If you plan to become a customer, I suggest going to another branch, there's multiple branches around the Bay Area.
