The bank fees, hours and its policies and processes are a one star operation. It has been a steady decline since they bought out FNB. Apparently if you make a deposit through the ATM the requirements are different for endorsing checks. They refused my deposit on that premise and instead of calling, they mailed my checks back and thus screwing up my account balance and prolonging when I would have access to these funds. They boast of being all about the personalized service and this is what they do. Shopping for a new bank! I miss First National Bank of Durango!! The tellers at TBK are 5 star all day long.

I'm giving the Bayfield branch 2 stars instead of 1, which is what TBK as a whole deserves. Some of the personnel at the Bayfield branch have been there since it was FNB of Durango, and they are generally friendly and competent. The Durango main branch, and the bank as a whole, since having been bought out by TBK, is marginal and in decline. You can no longer speak to a human at your branch by phone; if you call the branch you get someone in a call center in who knows where, who is likely to be surly, incompetent, or both. Increasing frequency of security problems, mysterious fees, and things generally not working. TBK is too big to give the kind of small town service FNB Durango delivered, and too small to provide the advantages of a 'branches everywhere' outfit like Wells Fargo.

WORST BANK. I wish I could put 0 stars. The manager Is unkind and impersonal, she couldn’t care less about her customers. All this bank ever says is how its here to take care of the customers, but I have not experienced that, ESPECIALLY in Bayfield. I was told when I opened an account here that there is grace for overdrafts, 3 a year, and the manager will only allow 1. Sometimes thats just poor timing with automatic bills and pay day, not a lack of funds being there on a daily basis. They dont let you cash YOUR check unless you have a certain amount in your account. Thats just ridiculous. Keep the color in your hair longer and Keep more money in your pocket. DONT BANK HERE.
