Worst banking I have ever had I will be going back to first break! Can't even send you a notice in writing when asked, have them on a recorded line and the absolute worst customer service! Do not go to any independent financial!

The Brighton branch is awesome. They have all my personal and business accounts and the customer service is great. All of them know me by name and make me feel welcome any time I call or stop into the branch. Thank you for the great service!!!

I'm a business owner here in Brighton I've been with Guaranty Bank since 2015 they were great thank until they merged with independent back. Now I'm not getting my credit card deposits like I used to! I used to get them in 12 hours now it takes 36 and because of this issue I have no cash flow during the week and my rent check just bounced! I believe they are doing this in an effort to make things bounce there are literally holding my money Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday! Then giving it to me on Monday and then holding Monday Tuesday's money till Wednesday Thursday its completely screwing my business! so my rent check bounced while they're holding my credit cards for 36 hours but guess what they get fees from that while holding my money! They are forcing me to do business elsewhere I've brought this up to them they want to blame the credit card processor! Well the credit card processor does other businesses of mine and I get my money the next day at those businesses! So it has to be the bank I don't care what they say! they want to charge me $77 for a box of checks and they want to charge $10 for a cashier's check to pay my rent! if you're a small-business do not come here! they're supposed to be here to help you they've done nothing but hinder my business since they switched to independent got bought out by independent bank! DONT BANK HERE IF U OWN A BUSINESS
So so basically what I'm saying is there holding my money in hopes that things bounce and they can get fees! That's how Banks eat that's how they live by fleecing our money with fees I'm not having it anymore! At this point there could be no other explanation they're doing it on purpose!
P.s. I lost my debit card in a ATM machine about 3 weeks ago now I ordered a new one over the phone just got off the phone with customer service they're telling me I didn't order the card and now I guess she said she can overnight a card to the branch why the couldnt you do that before why am I sitting around for three weeks with no debit card just to find out it was never processed and now you can overnight one to the bank why couldn't you overnight one to the bank when I lost it originally?? you guys are a joke a complete joke! You guys don't deserve the one-star I gave you it should be a zero
P.s.s today is September 11th 2019 I ordered a debit card last Thursday they promised me they would have it to the bank by Monday! they were supposed to call me! Today is Wednesday I haven't heard anything this is seriously the worst bank I've ever dealt with in my entire life they can't get anything right can't even send me a debit card what a waste!
The only reason why they got one star from me is because I have to give them one star to leave the review it should be zero stars or worse
P.s.s.s spoke to a supervisor this morning in the customer service department after given for different people my information again they said I should have a card in two days which would make you Friday which is now going on 3 weeks thanks guys I hope it's there Friday today's 911 by the way just so everybody knows what day it is! I literally ordered this debit card last month!

They were great when they were Guaranty Bank but now since they switched to Independent Bank I have had nothing but problems. I just tried to call them and ask what app to use to see my account since the Guaranty Bank mobile app will not work anymore and she put me on hold for 15 then the phone hung up... will be switching to a new bank immediately.

We have banked with the Brighton branch for years. Great service, friendly staff. Big bank with the little town feel. Highly recommend them!

Wow! The ladies are friendly and nice. I needed to do a difficult transaction in a very short period of time for my account, and the ladies were able to facilitate it in a fashion that would make your head spin. I don’t know that I could ever bank anywhere else. They are great service with a smile!!!!!!!
