We had a great experience with Bob and Michelle when we purchased our home last year! We originally started with USAA Mortgage (also good), but switched to Cherry Creek for my VA Loan because we preferred having a local contact to work with. Bob was very responsive to my emails, and our entire purchase experience was very smooth. Fast forward to today and I was wondering about refi options I am getting in the mail. Bob took the time to explain, in detail, why the math didn't line up for us, and how it would actually cost us a significant amount of money. We trust his expertise and will continue to recommend him to others!

Bob Manderfield was our point of contact at Cherry Creek and it was difficult communicating with him. My wife and I felt like an option, not a priority with him. He has a team that he works with around there and they ended up contacting us more than Bob did. We had other friends who also used Cherry Creek mortgage but had a different mortgage professional helping them. They mentioned they never talked to anyone else other than the one person. That was not our experience. In the past, I've used a different mortgage company to buy a house and they kept me in touch with one person and only one person. It just felt that Bob had other more important things to do than to deal with us directly. He also made it a point to try and call me out in our closing and basically tried to make me look like a fool regarding the latest changes as if I was the professional on the topic instead of having some grace. I recommend CCMC, just not Bob Manderfield.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
First came the endless requests for oddly detailed information during loan processing. Even representatives from our bank as well as other places we have accounts were shocked at what Cherry Creek in Colorado Springs was asking for.
Once we finally got though this hell, we closed on May 5th. To our shock, our first mortgage payment was due on Jun 1st. That's NOT EVEN 30 DAYS FROM CLOSING!!! This was not only a shocker but highly unusual. The first mortgage payment should be due at least 30 days from the end of the month in which you close. Look it up! Maybe Richard List can't do simple math but by my calculations, my first payment should have been due on July 1st.
STAY AWAY FROM CHERRY CREEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great service! We worked with Tom H. He was very helpful. He explained the process so we could understand, and was available at all times for anything we needed. He worked hard to ensure we were satisfied and comfortable with our decisions. I would recommend him and Cherry Creek Mortgage to anyone.
