Hard credit pull. Changed the loan conditions. Would be respectful and honest to not lie to potential customers just to harvest personal information, buyer beware.

Good for debt consolidation if your credit score isn't too healthy. Not too impressed with anything else. My account got sold back and forth multiple times and I feel like it has affected the way my loan is being paid down negatively because I'm coming up on what should be the end of the loan and still somehow owe over half of the original amount. I would use only as a last resort. My experience was consolidating debt with a 600 ish credit score, the clerk that assisted me was polite and the process of signing up was easy so im unbiased with a good initial experience. I'm assuming the company will respond to this to try justify something or other because that's what we do but this is obviously just my opinion so take it as you will. I would hit up an actual financial institute first if your credit score is a concern so you don't have to stress about payments possibly being missed because a different loan agency buys your account. Food for thought

I never got the gentleman's name who chose to deal with me, he never even got up from his desk to come up to the front and greet me, and I was not allowed back to go see him because there was a rope off separating me from doing so. This gentleman was rude, short and kurt, and very lazy. Instantly dismissive, I did not even bother to try to take the opportunity to work with me, let alone as stated before, did not even bother to get up from his desk, thus making me put out my details and information out loud to the entire bank. I will not be using One main financial for my finances. At again.

My experience with One Main Financial was great. Once approved , closing the loan was fast and simple. Jamaal guided me through the process with great customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to family and friends. Thank You!

Terrible company. They called me twice and sent email for being past due 1 day. That’s absurd. I was making the payment that evening, till I got that. I just simply contacted my credit union and moved the loan over and saved $8000. This place is teeder tottering on predatory lending. It was a mistake never again. The girls are friendly till after you sign the dotted line. Goto your local bank or credit union before this place. Till waiting for them to post my check to close my account.

Great customer service. I have used One Main Financial several times over the years. Helped in many money pinches in my life. The interest rate is VERY high. Go in person and apply extra payments on the principle only, this will help you with lots of extra interest. Took me awhile to figure this out. I was unable to pay principle only on line. Hope this helps someone. I would use One Main Financial in the future.

I called before my payment’s due date to make a payment arrangement and was told it would be no problem. I have NEVER missed a payment.
Between today and the time I made the payment arrangement I have been getting called 7 times a day by One Main. I called to speak with a manager and was told I had no payment arrangement in place and that they can legally call and harass me for payment 7 times a day. The assistant manager (I believe his name was Andrew) was rude and had no empathy for my concern. He told me he would add me to the “do not call list” and told me if I ever need help they will not call me to assist. Terrible customer service.
I will NEVER use One Main for anything every again. Beware, you will be harassed!

I applied for a loan last week and I got a call telling me to call back. I called back to speak to the person who left me the message, Caleb, and he was busy. I called again the next day and I was told by him that he couldn't pull my credit cause my report was locked so I told him I would unlock it for him and he told me he would try it again 5 minutes after the call or the next day as the unlocking of the report may take 24 hrs. Nothing that day. Nothing the next day or the day after that or over the weekend and my report was locked again. I call yesterday and he's busy yet again and I'm told he will call me back. No callback but they attempted to pull my credit again but couldn't cause it's locked. If he had pulled it when he said he was going to, none of this hassle would occur but he didn't and didn't try until close to 5-6 days later. You shouldn't give false expectations to ppl. If you cant do what you say you're going to do, then just be honest. I'm not locking and unlocking my report constantly just to try and get a loan from this company and I ended up telling them nevermind on it as this is already a hassle and it's not worth it.
