I did some work for them recently to clean their awnings before they get painted. I ended up figuring out while I was cleaning them that they had been weathered heavily, and informed the person I was going through of this.
Their answer to this was having their maintenance guy yell at me and tell me how to do my job, and short me $100 on the $250 check, which is my minimum charge.
I've called them multiple times asking to talk to the guy that made that call, and have gotten nothing but the cold shoulder. They signed my contract that protects me, and this is the last step I am going to take before going after then legally.
I don't want to do that, I'd rather have a good relationship with my clients, but I don't appreciate being treated like this.
All they have to do is call me and sort this out.
