TBK Bank, La Junta, CO

I agree this is the worst bank in La Junta. My mother has been a customer for over 30 years. Recently she had cash cards and checks stolen. Checks from TBK. This bank was not helpful at all, giving her bad advice and charging fees every step of the way. The bad news kept coming with a diagnosis of cancer and enrollment in a hospice. Mom wanted to add one of her children to her accounts. Again the poor customer service demanded that my ill mother must be physically in the bank to accomplish this task. Today, two of her children got her out of bed, wheelchair and oxygen in tow. She closed her checking, savings and took a penalty for cashing in a CD just so she doesn’t have to go back in this bank. I advise everyone to consider the same.

I tried to have money wired.... they stated that they need various additional information in order to send it. I call the recieving bank...all TBK had to do was look up the ABA number on line. I returned to my bank and had someone else help me... finally was sent. And....while waiting for the transfer paperwork I had to listen to the bank teller's boss ridicule the teller on her job performance. I've been a supervisor for many years. Take that conversation elsewhere...in private. Can't stand my bank!

TBK Bank is one the worst banks I've ever dealt with they can't spell your name correctly for one. AND they issue you a check they don't sign their checks AND their website is always down, & THEY CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT W/O LETTING U KNOW & you can't get ahold of the bank when their OPEN!

I was in the parking lot for 2 minutes because I had to pull over and get directions, some lady with brunette hair wearing a skirt came out and told me that if my car is broken down then I need to remove it immediately and if I have no business with them I need to be on my way, yeah I'm also a customer at this bank and tried to show her, I can understand if I was dripping oil or if I was causing problems or doing things that would disrupt the premises. However I was only getting directions while using the ATM. If this is how they treat customers, I'm really not going to be here banking with this bank. I agree with the reviews. Despise this bank,ill be reporting them to the ftc and colorado attorney General as well and im pulling my funds and switching banks! , they freeze my account for so called fraud because i used my laptop to log into my paypal account,when it asked if it was me I responded yes to tbk message, it says ok thanks for letting us know...now I have to cancel any plans for new years because there is no way to reach anyone to resolve this and theyre closed for new years when it falls on a sunday which means i cant do any transactionsuntil they open!!....this is the last draw for me its really pathetic to have a so called fraud protection when it prevents the account holder from being able to access funds thier own funds...
