After 40 minutes on the phone with customer service I still did not get a resolution to my issue. I was told to go to my local bank to take care of what I needed, I was at the time 85 miles from my local branch. Called the local bank 4 times and no one answered at all. Customer service was totally worthless.

The lobby of this branch has all the ambiance of being a mid life failure living in your parent's basement. They close randomly. Male teller seemed off put when having to actually assist a customer.

Called in last Tuesday to set up an appointment to create a checking account and was told the banker wasn’t in and I couldn’t set up an account until the following day and they would call to set up an appointment. On Wednesday I never received a phone call so I went into the bank on Thursday and they told me the banker was busy and they would give me a call. I never received a call again. It’s been a whole week and I’ve wasted my time trying to open an account. I’ll take my business to High Country. They got my account set up immediately today.

Worse customer service I have ever received. Every representative of this branch is terrible to work with. Takes weeks for them to get anything done. Very bad work ethic and very rude. I highly recommended doing your banking elsewhere. Do not trust this bank with your money.

Don't use this bank. I had no problems with Bank of the West, but once BMO took over it has been a disaster. BMO's customer service line is useless. You spend hours on hold and then it either hangs up or someone tells you there is nothing they can do. I have a business line of credit and it took me 8 hours on the phone plus in the branch to access it and even then it was some sort of work around the banker figured out and not a normal way of doing it. During the transfer from Bank of the West to BMO, my Zelle account got suspended and so I spent another 3 hours at the branch trying to figure out how to fix it and eventually they said there was nothing they could do. Now, I did a $3k transfer from my BMO business account to my Chase personal account on Friday. It is supposed to be a next day delivery. Usually, the money is taken out of the BMO account immediately. This did not happen on Friday which raised some concerns. Nothing showed up on Monday either. So I initiated another transfer. Then, the transfer from Friday showed up, so my account was overdrawn because both the Friday and the Monday transfer were taken out. Today neither transfer is in my Chase account. I have spent over an hour today on the phone trying to figure out where this $6k has gone. The end result was that they don't know, and I can just wait or they can try to cancel the transfer on their end which would take 3-5 business days. I have no faith this will get done anyway, because every time I call the branch I am put on hold, told someone will call me back, or told there is no answer. In summary, BMO has taken $6k out of my account, it has disappeared, and no one knows where it has gone. They appologized that this was not the answer I was looking for.
