Worst experience cashing a money order I've ever had.... absolutely ridiculous. Waiting for over 40min at the window and the lady obviously has no idea what she is doing. She handed me a form and I filled it out and handed it back. She then keeps asking me for information that is om the form. What a waste of time... They also charge a service fee of 10% which is beyond ridiculous when it's a money order for $70. I left after wasting 45min becaudr of incompetence. I wish I managed this place. It would have proper staff and training.

I have been an Amscot customer for over 3 years. I came to the Amscot location in Apopka Fl and asked for a 500 cash advance. The cashier shorted me 100.. I asked them to count the drawer where she gave me the money from and she didn't. She definately was hiding something.. She probably gave someone else the wrong amount and to cover herself, I ended up being the one who paid for her error. Make them count the money twice before they give it to you.. once its in your hands they don't respond... I have never had a problem like this at any amscot location.. I regret coming to this location. After reading all the reviews I don't feel surprised.

Went here to cash a check and had the worst experience. Was basically told my check was unable to be cashed because they couldn’t verify I worked at the location I was getting the check from. Told there was nothing they could do to help me. I called Amscot’s customer service number and the representative just called the number of the store I worked at to solve the issue. Great for their customer service phone number, but horrible for the store that I was told there was nothing they could do even when the fix to the problem was so simple.

I work nights so I dont go to my bank. I had a usps money order. They wouldn't cash it. If they wont honor a federal government money order, it makes me wonder what shady practices they're involved in.

This location has the worst customer service. This was my first time visiting an Amscot and most likely my last time visiting one. The reps are not friendly and don’t seem to know what services they are able to offer or not offer. The rep was rude and uninformed. I even tried to be friendly and give a greeting and the rep completely ignored it. I wasn’t upset that the location didn’t offer the services I needed, but more so the poor attitude of the rep. Never again.
