I have NEVER been so disappointed and disgusted with the customer service I have received with MIDFLORIDA until today. Our account was hacked, clearly fraud and we were contacted by Annette in the fraud department. We profusely explained that we didn’t authorize the charges nor mobile deposits. We were told by Annette to come into a branch and open a new account,debit cards etc. We did that this morning and were told that we authorized the fraud which we didn’t, and that we would need to fund our new account. And then Annette stated that it really didn’t matter because our account was so over withdrawn due to the fraud that we couldn’t open a new account. My husband said to Annette I work for the sheriffs office why would I commit fraud….to which Annette replied “I don’t really care who you work for”. I have never been so disappointed or shocked that a MIDFLORIDA employee would speak to someone that way or even imply that someone was a criminal. Needless to say we left with no new bank account, debit card or our money that was fraudulently taken. We were told we may get it back in 30-90 days. I understand they have to investigate and I’m ok with that but the implication of my husband committing a crime and the awful customer service has really made me rethink banking with MIDFLORIDA ever again.

Stephanie Catlett and Darlene Ballard did an awesome job assisting and guiding me through my mortgage application right through the closing! I had some issues with both my real estate agent and the listing agent of the house that we purchased. Stephanie and Darlene were on my side right throughout the 30 day process. They had our back!! This is my second home that I have mortgaged through Mid Florida Credit Union and am very pleased! I highly recommend them!
