This place deserves ZERO stars. To get a money order they demand your full address, phone number, email, and SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER! How crazy is that? Are they selling customers information?
And if you are out of country they will tell you in broken English: "This is United States!"
Even a walmart is better place to get a money order. No questions asked. No racist remarks given.

It's an amscot. You get what you expect. A mindless drone behind the bulletproof glass in turtleneck button up blue shirt. They give you free money orders, I guess that was the highlight of the trip here. I didn't get offered tootsie rolls though and that kind of hurt.

Why does this place exist?
I admit to going to get money orders here from time to time because some places don't take cash, card or check for some weird reason.
But I went in to get change today at the place that calls itself "YOUR money superstore!" And the person behind the counter informed me they don't do change. They always did before so why was today different? 0 out of 5 stars, couldn't do the one simple thing I asked of them.
Also whom actually uses the services at this place? Prepaid debut cards? Why not use a bank? Small loans? There are cheaper loan rates from online lenders and banks. Electronic bill pay?! Literally every utility in the united states offer electronic bill pay and whom actually needs check cashing these days when direct deposit, banks, Walmart, corner stores and credit unions actually exist.
Obsolete business with obsolete business models and nothing worth offering to anyone in the 21st century.
I'm going to my bank to sort out the times I may need a money order or a roll of quarters because those were the only 2 reasons I'd ever step foot into this dead end business that advertised how it underpays its employees right on the door. 15 an hour to be a glorified bank teller? Yikes.
The whole company, the whole business model, the out dated services and overpriced fees. You'd be better off taking your financial business anywhere else.
