Amscot - The Money Superstore, Mount Dora, FL

I went to this store last night to make change for $50 for my yard sale this weekend. I received $10 in a roll of quarters, $10 in ones, fives and tens. When I broke open my roll of quarters this morning I find two nickels! Don’t go to this place they will take your money!

Came in around 10:30am in the morning my boyfriend was just asking question she wanted roll her eyes be rude to my boyfriend not gonna do your job right don’t be rude to your customers

Very Negative!!! 07/20/ 2019 Saturday ( evening ) two employees of the Amscot Store #241 for two hours - mocked me!!!!!!!! I tried to send money through the Western Union to my girlfriend , who was in other country on vacation... they did everything possible to make me feel nervous and offended !!!! I don’t know what that female employee wrote or said to Western Union but in the end, my money transfer was cancelled!!!! So, I could not help to my friend in critical situation because of this two “ people “

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with the people at the Mount Dora/Eustis Amscot. Everyone is friendly, efficient and if I ever had a problem, they solved it.

I get money orders from them, monthly and have never had a problem. Staff is friendly and have begun to remember my name!!

So far absolutely no complaints! Friendly staff and process thru it all went most fluidly! Highly recommend this ASCAP Financial Service!

We went to get a closing document notarized that was *sent to us in the mail from another state*. They said they had to check to see if it was a document that they could notarize. They said they could notarize it. We filled out all the paperwork and employees were only watching part of the time, and not all the same employee. The teenage girl who was helping us filled out their log book with the "licensed notary" box filled in with "Rodney." We finally finished filling out all the paperwork and another teenage girl (one we had not seen yet) came to sign and said they can't sign that type of document. She was very rude and offered to sign the other pages for the same fee, just not the most important one. Also she did not look like a "Rodney." The title lady asked us to talk to her and she refused to talk to her. Rodney should have his license revoked. super sketchy practices going on here.
