As promised, I did go to another amscott. This location when I walked in had one other customer waiting, we yelled and knocked for someone to come out front but no body was there. After about 10 minutes a woman comes out and quickly takes care of the woman in front of me. I gave her my cash ($1400) and asked for a money order, she says I need your i.d so I gave it to her. After just a couple minutes she handed my license and a fresh money order. I asked her if there is any reason that this money order would’ve been refused. She responded by telling me it is against their policy to provide money orders that will be deposited by a business. She explained she actually wasn’t supposed to provide it, but that she hadn’t noticed and still gave me the money order. This location would’ve gotten a better review had it not been for the wait when I first arrived. All In all this location is good, I would definitely tell people to come to this location.

Worst customer service ever. I came in 48 minutes ago for 2 money orders!!!!! The old Chinese guy is still on the first customer. This is ridiculous!!!! Get these people some training!!!! The younger black lady needs help with everything!!!! There is no hope they have 5 more minutes and I am leaving.

The Asian guy is not helpful. If you are black or urban try to avoid here if you can. He took one look at me and told me he couldn’t help me with my request in and out in 30 seconds tops. My request was to change money not even to borrow it smfh.

I usually don't have a problem with this amscot or any amscot after over 5 years. Pretty straight to the point Everytime in and out. Other than extreme lines on Fridays, but that makes sense.
What has me urked is I essentially had my money taken from me as I requested for an extension of another day to pay my loan. Did the paper work that was asked of me, and did as I was told with the new date.
I find out a few days later the check you sign with to take a loan, still was taken out of my account. Of course I try to rectify this, but all I got was a half empty answer and talked over while trying to explain the problem.
Which ends up with me having to take yet another loan, essentially being charged the 10% surcharge fee from the other past loan at a time I wasn't prepared to have the money to Be taken out. To of course get another loan, for a lower amount than the amount taken, with another added surge fee.
My advice is to just get your check cashed or money order made. Any type of complication or above the daily norm for the associates that work here will panic , give you the run around, shut you up and tell you to move on.
