They have no idea how to process Western Union when you send money from your online profile. Some of the Amscot clerks will ask for you to write the name of the person you are sending too. I let them know I already did the transaction online they just need to check my ID and collect my money. The clerk will say no I can’t send money Western Union unless I do what they ask. Why in the hell would I take the time to send money on my Western Union profile to turn right around and give the same information to the Amscot clerk? I don’t like wasting time and doing thinks twice. Remember there is always a line of people waiting and there time is important too. Amscot needs to retrain there clerks on how to handle Western Union customers who complete there transactions online. The main problem is the clerks check Amscot’s crm for your phone in there computer. Then they look for your Western Union transaction with this phone number. If that phone number doesn’t show any Western Union transaction ready they begin to start a new transaction by asking you for all the information you already filled out online with Western Union. The clerk should have told the customer I can’t find your transaction in Western Union with the phone number in Amscot’s computer. The customer then would give you the phone number they have registered with Western Union and they clerk will find the Western Union transaction. Now you can ask the customer do you want me to update this phone number in Amscot’s computer? If they agree then next time the clerk should find you easier when sending money again. What’s not acceptable is telling the customer sorry you will need to give me all the information again and doesn’t want to listen to the customer to help them. The clerk says more or less do as I ask or I’m not helping you. I hope a higher up in Amacot reads this and retrain there staff.

Worst customer service experience I've ever experienced at am Amscot. The manager and employees want to sit there and get paid but don't want to actually work to help the customers in the process. Will not be returning to this location.

Got a money order for a passport. Was in and out in less than five minutes. The only problem was they were having ceiling issues that needed to be resolved. Removed the professionalism of the workplace but I would definitely go again. Staff was kind and inviting.

I needed to find a notary to sign a paper, and called and asked if this Amscot location had one on site. They did, so I drove over. Turns out they were unable to sign the paper that I had (DMV VIN Verification) which is fine I understand, however, the notary on site was rude and condescending... I didn't need to be ridiculed and talked down on. Won't be stopping into this location again.
