Carlos is absolutely the rudest and.worst worker amscot ever.he discrimates against people. he purpose says emails don't come thru and pretends to call corporate but really doesn't. he never pretends out the paper to call corporate. he is so rude and cusses at you, makes rude remarks under his breath so the cameras won't see him. he needs to be fired. this happens every day I used to work.wogb him. he also had stolen quite a few times.

Kevin provided VERY Poor customer service even didn't say welcome to Amscot, good afternoon, how may I help you, etc.it's a shame... lack of charisma to serve people.. it's not according with values and culture that I learned with this Company. Put my change at the window and disappear. I m stunning with the treat I received, now I understand why this branch is always empty.

I've been coming here for over a year and have never been hassled until I worked with JAY at the counter.
She asked me for my ID as well as my address and phone number, stating she was updating my information.
I kept asking "For a money order?" and she kept replying with a nasty smile and saying she needed to update me in the system. I told her I didn't want them calling me and gave a fake number, given she had my ID and I couldn't provide a fake address. Why would a customer using free services need to provide a company with private (sellable) data?
I cashed a check at an Amscot, about 20 years ago and since only use the service for money orders given the high price of all their fee services. My point? There was no need to update me, she was profiling and trying to catch me in owing the company money.
A 30 second transaction took 5 minutes while she did all this. Won't be returning to this location.
Treat people better. Whether or not it was Christmas time, Jay you never know what people are going through.

I have been using this location’s service for years and never had a problem until the employee I never met handled my money transfer. Her operator ID: Kem. First of all, they stopped using forms for transactions. After I wrote down the receiver’s name, she didn’t clarify the first and last name. And she didn’t even ask the destination. I had to remind her. I found out she put half of the first name into the last name spot when the receiver showed what went wrong that couldn’t take money out. I had to go back to the store. She argued with me that I didn’t read carefully the receipt before I confirmed it although I explained to her what she did wrong. She tried to fool me that there was no way to correct the name until I confronted her that that could be changed according to the information provided by Western Union. Then she was unwilling to make a correction. She told me she was the store manager. I gave up complaining. It’s Amscot’s tragedy that they hire such a person as a store manager. Her name is Caroline on the name tag, hopefully she didn’t wear someone else’s. I will have to use other locations if she still works there. I rather drive further or use other business that provides money order.
