I've been using their service for many years now and they have always been a great pleasure to work with. Anytime I need an extension? They provide it. Due date approaching? They'll call you a few times to remind you. Always understanding and friendly service. Never have to wait long.

Never had issues with Amscot till today with an encounter with a Reginaldo or on those lines. Says he’s the one in charge no concern for people waiting. Talks down to you, he literally said why don’t you know you account number by heart. Was suppose to be servicing the customers instead worrying about other things that could be done while customers not there. It Is nice to stop by pay a bill or two or get a money order or other services but to be treated like a nuisance and be treated that away I’ll never go back to this branch. Never has issues with any other location in the past.Called customer service make complaint said we will file report called right back about 15 min nothing filed then transfer me to the branch.

I called this Amscot and spoke to the “Leader” on duty and I had a cash advance that I had not paid back on time and had a personal check that I wanted to cash and pay off the entire cash advance all in one shot to get back on a positive feed with the company. He forwarded my information to corporate as they are supposed to do (I know because I used to work for Amscot), and corporate denied cashing my check because they felt it was suspicious that the personal check was coming from another person living at my same address and they were informed that the check was coming from my fiancé because we had just sold a house yesterday and she was sending me some money from the house we both sold since the realtors transferred all the funds to her account initially. They even asked me for her phone number in case they needed to verify who she was and the reason for sending me the money. I gave them her phone number and was even willing to give an additional phone number to her job because she was working at that moment in case they needed to speak to her directly. They never even bothered to try to call her at either number but were very quick to deny me. There was absolutely nothing fishy going on and they still denied cashing my check, to a former employee no less. That is ridiculous. I literally just sold my house and needed funds right away to get things done for my new house and Amscot was a part of delaying that, not being fair to a decent customer who has used their services in the past with no other issues. Now, they can wait to get their cash advance money back. They denied me, now I am going to deny them their money. Screw their corporate team. I do have to give it to their leader though, he did try to help me but unfortunately when he called them they were the ones who denied me, the only problem was that they don’t ever give a reason for denying cashing the check but they will put notes in their system so that the FSA’s know why the customer got denied for future reference. Once again, not fair to a decent customer.

My husband went into this Amscot on 9/14/2021.
He waited to be called on. They never did but called others when they came! He even went to one of the windows and they still didn’t acknowledge him. The guys name was Kendrick!

Be careful at this location please. I had to fax some important paperwork to an attorney. Some of the paperwork contained my personal information. Not only did they not give me back the paper work, they allowed for it to sit on the counter for 48 hours for anyone to view. When I discussed the matter with the manager she was rude, none apologetic and not even a bit concerned. Train your employees properly Amscot. If that had happened with my company that person would have been terminated!

Went in to get an advance and the young gentlemen was rude. Had to show him multiple times that this was the correct pay slip then wanted a screen shot of my bank account . I was like no way. He walked away from me during the middle of helping me to go help another person. I rather eat soup for a week than deal with ignorant people.
