This is our 6th home purchase but by far the best experience. Early on, we were nervous about home buying and stuck with well known national banks out of fear. We were willing to pay a higher rate because we felt they would be more reliable and experienced. We had horrible experiences with over bureaucratic processes, long delays, impersonal service and way too much documentation needed. We then did a couple mortgages with national online lenders. Those were better. Rates were good and email response was good. What they lacked was local market knowledge. Then we tried Gold Star. Good rates and low fees. But most importantly, Chris and his team stayed in constant contact through the whole process. We had an unusual situation but they quickly worked through it and kept us informed. They also helped with local resources and understood certain requirements here in Florida. I would highly recommend Gold Star Mortgage.

After living in our home for 14 years we decided it was time to do some major upgrades to it, including remodeling our kitchen and putting in new floors.
