I'm the type of person who either leaves a review if my service was either really good or really bad, but there has been a recurrent experience whenever I call this Bank Iowa. I moved to California a year and 4 months ago but still have my account with Bank Iowa. I had a wedding that I needed to plan for, school to be paid for, and other expenses that required spendage over the debit card limit. Although I live two time zones and about 5 states away, the service I have received whenever I call into Bank Iowa is as convenient and expedient as if I was walking to the front counter myself! California might have Iowa beat in crab legs, oceans, and vacation spots, but nothing compares to the excellent service I get from Bank Iowa in Clarinda. So if Bank Iowa marketing gets a hold of this review and wants to put me in a Bank Iowa commercial, I have my agent on standby.

A mattress or these clowns ..better off to keep cash under your mattress! Unreasonable fees, rude staff, you get grilled depositing YOUR money. Just annother crooked, and currently insolvent bank

My mother passed away a week ago at the age of 100. I stopped by the bank today to ask about an old insurance policy mom had there several years ago. The teller went to an office to ask another woman about the the insurance. After a few minutes of staring at her computer she yells out of her office and said hey could you come back here so we could talk in my office. You know being unprofessional doesn't really bother me it's everywhere. What does bother me that they didn't even have the respect to send maybe flowers too the funeral home or at least a card but we got nothing. Very disrespectful to our family. My mother and father has had this checking account since the middle 60s. Unbelievable
