They use to be good and caring but since remodeling worst bank ever. Half the time their telephone banking doesn't work. If you go to the office like your bothering them. And harrsed my mom just to deposit money into my account.this is the east 30 location. Someone needs to come from the home office and clean the branch up

Worst customer service I’ve had. They mail your statement out after your due date which makes no sense. They give you a 10 day grace period and that’s when I paid my payment but guess what they charged a late fee and refuse to fix it. Wouldn’t even let me talk to a manager. Don’t get a auto loan from this place.

I'm frustrated with the constant "connectivity errors" and other technical issues I experience trying to do my banking online or on my phone. Firstly, I was in the branch the day before Thanksgiving and spoke with several different representatives while they helped me replace my debit card. Not a single bank employee felt it necessary to tell me your entire system would be offline for several hours today. There were no signs put up in the branch location to let members know. You could have sent out an email or text message to your customers ahead of time. Now, it's Sunday...bill paying day, and I have absolutely NO access to my checking account balance. This is a huge problem for me. Why would you take every single service offline at the same time, including your teller phone? Card services could not even tell me what my accurate balance is on any of my accounts. Secondly, I consistently have these connectivity problems with your app. Third, the ATM at your east side location is also consistently out of order. When you go inside to speak with a teller about it, it's always 24 hours before your third party can be there to make any repairs. This is all a joke in regards to customer service. I've been a member for several years and I'm fed up with your technical issues. Stop pushing online banking if you're constantly having technical problems or get a third party that will actually provide working services to your customers. I know for a fact that similar local credit unions don't stress their customers with nonsense like this. The only reason I haven't closed my accounts is because the east side location is close to my home. I think that will be changing very soon considering these lack or services continually waste a huge amount of my time.

Terrible place to bank. I would recommend shopping around before you use this bank on E. 30th St. I went in there with appropriate power of attorney documents that was notorized and my ID and member card to cash a check on behalf of my brother because he couldn't cash a check on his own, and they told me I had to have his ID. I asked them to show me policy stating that. They couldn't. They are liars and disrespectful. I've been banking there 20 years. Time to go elsewhere. Also, they took money out of my account without calling me first. GO TO A DIFFERENT BANK. Do not offer them your business.

We've been members of GICU for almost three years. We chose it when we moved from the KCMO area because of our excellent experience with a credit union there. The employees at Greater Iowa Credit Union are responsive and professional. The website is exceptional for those who want to check their transactions and balances daily. Our debit cards have been the subject of fraud, and GICU is super at resolving those problems if they occur. (The fraud was not, of course, their responsibility; it's more common now.) We would highly recommend GICU to those using banks who want a higher level of personal service.

I'm definitely recommending all my friends to come here. Friendly stuff, very professional, and low rates! I like the vibe I get when I come to the bank, they combine a small town feel with class and high tech! Awesome bank with awesome people for the awesome experience!
