This morning, Dec 31, 2021, no one answered the phone when I called. I called again around 1pm and this time a teller picked up. I wanted to speak with a banker. I was told that there was only one banker on staff and she couldn't come to the phone because she was with a customer. I was told there was another customer waiting so they didn't know when a banker would be available. This experience solidified my decision to end my relationship with 5/3. I called the McHenry branch and the call was promptly answered by someone with much better customer service skills. I went there and closed my account after 23 years.

I have been banking with this bank for 7 years and got a credit card with them a little less than three years ago. They closed the bank in my town and had to end up going to the next town to do my banking a few years ago. This year with the virus taking place the bank that advertised they are here for you and doing what they can to be 166.7% better just decided to cut my credit limit over half for no reason, I still have my job and have the same income and have paid all bills and things on time. I called in to find out exactly why and Jeremy at the crystal lake location said that they are doing this to even the employees too! I STILL don't have a reason other than that. So dont bank with them unless you want them to destroy your credit and close up shop for no reason! Worst banking experiences of my life!

I've banked with 5/3 for many years. Even living out of state I continue to use 5/3 due to the exceptional customer service provided by Dalton at the Crystal Lake Branch. Dalton has gone above and beyond to assist me in many ways and is extremely responsive.

Every one was friendly.. never had any issues. When ever I go into the bank everybody is more than willing to help and outgoing. I have been banking there for about a year now. They also have a awesome atm machine,. Can make deposits and post immediately.

I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card. I went in and talked to Wendy Russo. She was fantastic!! Took care of everything for me. I had a new card issued in 2 business days and the fraudulent charge was reversed.

I been with fifth third since I was in highschool they use to be a good bank now I'm almost 30 in fifth third has become a horrible bank the last 5 times money has been transferred out my account without my consent from people commiting fraud and the bank has done nothing to help the last 5 times And now it happen again the bank sat there and let foreigner from another country take 100 out my account and fifth third has done nothing to help me they basically taking the foreigner words over mines Now I'm in the negative I am closing this bank that support fraud dont do business with this bank. Then everytime my job pays me fifth third bank want to know where I get my money from but won't handle fraudulent activities. I highly do not recommend all fifth third banks

The tellers are not the nicest, I've had 3 different debit cards. When I call customer service they're always closed after 5pm. Most banks that I know have customer service 24/7
