Ally was awesome - car rates were nearly half other places and she got us taken care of very quickly. Checking and saving are very good too. Looking into switching over!

So the response form Numak was to contact them directly but they didn't leave the information for contact them. The worst experience! I went to Numark to refinance my auto loan. I spoke with someone and gave them all my personal information to start the process. We agreed on the term of the loan and the rate. She said that someone would be getting back to me. A few days later I received an email needing more information. I gave them the needed information and I didn't hear back from them. I send a reply email and still called and left messages no call back send another email. Than someone called me back. We set up a date to sign the agreement and when I went to meet this person she was off . She never told me so someone else tried to help. When I was ready to sign THE TERMS CHANGED. This has been the worst process I have ever had with a financial institution.

I made a very large deposit to Numark and made it very clear to them that I needed my funds immediately, for there is usually a 10 day hold on all large check deposits. Obviously not a normal situation, if I didn’t have the funds immediately, I would lose out on a piece of equipment for my business. They went way out of their way to verify that the funds I deposited were legitimate in order to release the fund’s deposited the same day. This would not happen with an ordinary bank. I am transitioning all of my savings, personal, and business funds to Numark because they genuinely understood my situation and did everything in their power to make my requests happen. Top knotch service at the New lenox branch. Highly recommend.

i do NOT recommend this bank at all . compared to other banks , numark gives off an under developed vibe and the technology sucks . the app is super confusing and out dated , you can’t instant transfer money from bank to bank and on top of it the ATM doesn’t accept cash ….. i had my car insurance bill to pay and didn’t have the money in my account yet , i sometimes get paid cash so i would then have to deposit the money myself . I received my paycheck saturday night . but , Numark closes at 6 and like i said the atm doesn’t take cash . but with it being a holiday this monday i can’t deposit the money until TUESDAY !!! The car bill was due sunday after noon , now i’m at risk of my insurance cancelling me and my account t drawing negative all because numark is not flexible or updated at all . like i said i would not reccomend to anyone there are plenty of better banks out there . plus the staff is slow , and not very friendly . especially this one lady that works behind the counter , she never ever wears the face mask correctly it’s always hanging off her chin and she coughs constantly. i can’t believe what a mess this place is

I have been a member of NuMark/North Star for a number of years. Their service is always first rate, but on a recent transaction, the financial service rep in the New Lenox office was very pleasant to work with and made everything simple and easy. The way they have you sign documents online is very cool. Finally, their rates on loans are always lower than anywhere else!

Frankie helped me set up a new account at the New Lenox location and I couldn't be happier. He was super friendly, answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond make sure I had a great experience. Everyone who works at this branch made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They talked to me like I was a friend, not just a customer. I'm glad I made the decision to move to this credit union in my hometown.
