I had an account here very briefly, and it was a very strange experience. First, they could not send me my debit card, I had to return to the branch to pick it up- ok, weird, but whatever. Secondly, there is zero customer service when they are closed which means waiting several days potentially when there is a major issue with the account (this happened to me). Third, there is no way to transfer money from this institution to any other account unless it is an IVCU account. (I didn't realize there was any banking institution in 2022 that could not do this- do they know about the Internet?!) Lastly, I closed my account after less than a month and have been, for weeks now, receiving mail offers with anxiety-inducing headlines like, IMMEDIATE REPLY REQUESTED all in big red capital letters. The quickness with which they sold my information to auto insurance companies, life insurance companies, and others is shocking and gross. I was hoping to support a local business, and instead I have to deal with this major influx of junk mail. Just as an example, yesterday I received two letters, and today I received three! I have called the insurance company they sold my information to (TruStage), and have removed my name, but they say it could be 90 days before it is totally removed. I think this is absolutely unacceptable from an institution that one expects to be trustworthy- why would I trust my money to a place that sells my information with lightning speed? Incredibly disappointed and disgusted.

Terribly rude mousey old woman at the drive through window- knows everyone’s business and repeats it- don’t go here if you want your information private- and you want to be greeted by a friendly person- they have nothing to offer- go to fpcu- nice customer service people there

Been here for probably at LEAST 30-35 years! It's like having great friends on a 1st name basis! Love IVCU!
