This bank use to be the best when Mary W. worked there. Now it has gone downhill like a train wreck .
They've shortened thier hours, closed multiple branches, and now made it more difficult to see credit card statements and pay as they make you go through multiple sites to do our banking.
Different people give you different answers and run around to the same simple questions with no resolve.
They'll show your balance that you owe on thier app, but make you go on another site to pay it and see the breakdown of charges and payments.
I would strongly advise to be a member of another credit union because sadly this one isn't what it used to be. It used to be a bank of people that cared. Now you're just a number like everyone else and they are years behind the technology curve.

I have been with Illinois Community Credit Union for approximately 21 years now. There has been a lot of changes. Have I had problems, yes but they get right on it and help me resolve any issues for the most part I've had threw the years. Only problem I have is wish the Genoa Branch was still open to the public. ;)

I've been with ICCU since the purchase of my 1st car and I don't see myself financing with anyone else. I recently purchased my 5th car and this time was no different from the first, the loan process was seamless!!! This go round I worked with Marisa Burgin, she was amazing! She answered all of my questions during and even after the purchase. I also appreciate the swiftness in her completing the process...she was definitely on top of things! Thanks Marisa!

Worst choice for a credit union. 1.) Minimum credit of 580. Credit Karma doesn't seem to match where ever they get the score from. 2.) Have to put $25 in. $5 of which, they keep when you close the acct as a fee. 3.) If your address doesn't match your ID, you must supply with 2 forms of recent mail. Not one, but two. They won't tell you that though until you get there. 4.) Even if you had a co-signer, both have to have the minimum credit score. 5.) The first direct deposit made, they hold on to for 7 days. Yup a whole week. 6.) If you only get a savings account, you don't get a card. [Some places have where u can get a card] Lady tells us, once you raise your score you can apply again. The whole point of us getting the account was to set up direct deposit from the new job...So for anyone else in a similar predicament, go with the Chime app! They're awesome.

I have been a member with the credit union for over 9 years. Today I went to go deposit a check for a small amount of money. The check was from another local credit union. They placed a hold on the entire amount. The teller did not bother letting me know about the funds not being available right away. It was absurd. Not only do I receive direct deposit from more than just my employer there but I trusted them enough to have an auto loan through them. Not to mention just a few weeks ago, I brought a check in for twice the amount that this current check was same local credit union and no hold was placed on it. Seems a little absurd, and not to mention sounds like they are picking and choosing when they want the funds to be available. Also spoke with the branch manager Denise, not helpful at all, and had no explanation on why one check had a hold on it and another did not. Once she answered the phone she did not bother asking any questions or even getting any information from me. She simply said yeah they told me already.Very poor customer service. Very unfortunate that they treat members like this. Ive recommended plenty of services to family and colleagues over the years. Will no longer be doing so.
I will no longer be continuing my services with them. At this point Ill finance my auto loan through a more valuable credit union who really takes into account the members that have invested in them.

The staff here was amazing and helped save us from overpaying on a car I purchased from the dealership. Dominique Bentley even stayed late to assist us and explain everything regarding membership and the loan details. Would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.

Been a member for over 25 years, and they USED to be my go to. Made a mistake on a debit by $10.00 yes only $10.00 they returned the payment to cc company. Charged me $35.00 NSF fee now my credit card past due, and the credit card charged me $25.00. Out $60.00 on a $10.00 mistake that I CANNOT AFFORD in these TOUGH times!!!! Have an account at FNB across the street, and they CHARGE NO FEES!! We do have our $25.00 Share that they could use to cover an overdraft!! POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!! Plus, they do not answer the phone!!
