Their automatic phone number to activate cards does not work. Tried 8 times but just kept asking me to put in my info over and over before telling me my request can't be processed. I am busy all the time and whenever I'm free enough to actually sort this out, FTS is closed. Not to mention that their website is horribly designed and extremely counter intuitive. How hard is it to put a "sign in" button in the top right corner? Every other website has one. And not to mention their ridiculous overdraft fees. I was 16¢ short on a monthly subscription so the bank charged me $30. Luckily I have people to help me financially because greedy practices like that are the reason people become homeless. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
Edit: I just found out they let a charge go through for a subscription I cancelled even though I can't even use my card buy food.

This bank is NOT a personable bank! It ONLY cares about it's customers. I went to get a roll of quarters and was asked if I was a customer. I said no. They refused to give me quarters. Then they said they would have to charge me an extra 10 dollars in order to get a roll. I came back to talk to a manager and was not referred to one. This time quarters were refused to me alltogether without a convenience fee. I was going to start an account there for a family member BUT NOT NOW!!! What is this world coming to! You can't exchange currency for coins?! I am going to tell everyone in town not to bank there. Absolutely unbelievable!

If your looking for a good company to do your banking business with i would definitely Highly Recommend you give First Trust & Saving Bank to do business with the first time in gosh's know how many years it's been since i had a account the first time i walked in the Watseka Bank i felt like i was in good hands very good hands and this is the place that i belonged at to do my banking with and open my own account with and ever since i opened it i am one happy Customer for sure and where my mom and dad and brother bank at in that state i would chose First Trust & Savings Bank over where they bank out of and do there business with because i know my money is in good hands and in very good hands even too and i don't ever plan on getting a account over in that state ever in my life time period ever the staff is very friendly and very nice and you'll be like me and that is One Happy Customer and even the place on both banks are very nice and setup very nice even too and the first time i opened my account when i walked into the Watseka that ins't to far away from where i live at i felt like i believe there and it maid me feel like this was my place that i need to be at felt like a business man for some reason why but i would Highly Recommend You Open your checking account or if you plan on opening a saving account and you'll feel just like me right at home and you'll feel like your money is very good hands even too

Had an account here since I was sixteen (almost ten years ago), and never experienced any true problems banking here. These past 2 years one of their members, Paige, has been extremely quick, and courteous to solving the issues I've had. As for as everyone else, the vast majority have been polite and I can't say I've ever had a negative moment inside the building either.

I love this bank I've been a customer for years my father banked there as well when I call they know who I am they don't have hidden charges like franchise banks do and sometimes if I feel sad I can call and talk they are good people
