My online app won’t let me sign in with my facial recognition, and it won’t let me change my password. It’s saying I can’t you my social security or memeber number as a password and I’m not I’m trying to use my dogs name as the password

My wife and I have been with this place since 2009/2010 and ever since Jason Ford left a few years ago the south branch has went so far down hill I would not recommend this place to anybody there are a few good people that work here but not many we will be closing all the accounts we have with this place and moving on we have had one issue after another no consistency omgst employee i would have given no stars if possible please stay away

I have nothing but good things to say about this credit union. They have always been helpful every time that I have interacted with them. They are often times more flexible than they need to be. The 2 times that I have overdrawn my account they haven't even charged me an overdraft fee as long as I put money in my account quickly. I feel like most other banks just watch your account hoping you will overdraft so they can charge you a fee.
I don't think the other review on here is accurate at all. Sometimes people in this area have very bad attitudes and I feel like she was blaming her bad day on anyone that she could. Even if they did what she stated, from my experience they would have been more than happy to make the situation right. And as far as the life insurance being taken out of her account without her knowledge I feel like she should do a fraud alert on her credit report because that doesn't sound like Afena's fault that that happened.
The only downside to Afena is that they don't support financial tools like Mint or Quicken. If they would change that then they would be the perfect place to do your banking.

They are a bad credit union very unprofessional. If you get a loan I would suggest you do not deal with them because they lack professional support from their collections department and their customer service. I am glad I paid them off so I don't have to deal with thier poor treatment

If you need a personal or car loan, this is the place! Great interest and phenomenal service. Recently I had a situation and no idea of where to turn. I went in to the Afena branch by Meijer store. There I talked to a really fantastic loan officer.Julie Storie was wonderful, and honestly worked hard for me and got me the help that I needed. I didn't think I would get it, but somehow I did!!
I highly recommend AFENA for all your banking. I moved my checking, savings and now new loan all to Afena. And great customer service too. You can't go wrong with this Credit Union in Grant County.

Are we becoming a cashless society? Went to Afena Credit Union north on the bypass today to deposit into my savings account. I had 2 checks and coin which was rolled, 3 rolls of quarters, 1rolls of dimes. I was told she could not accept it but I could take the coin to the coin counter and pay a fee and then deposit it. As a customer I should be able to deposit american currency into my account. I can see a fee for a non-customer but not a customer of the credit union. I soon will be a non-customer. Again, as I have noted before...customer service is a thing of the past. When did our currency become unacceptable unless it is the format they determine acceptable. It should not cost me to make a deposit of American money! Alsi

Been a member for awhile now and I absolutely hate the new drive thru at the new branch that just opened. You have to put checks in the machine then wait for teller to receive and process THEN you have to put cash in the machine and wait for teller to receive and process that THEN you have to sign the screen with your left hand unless you can hang out the car window to use your right. Really miss the old way when you put everything in the drawer and you were done. This new drive thru takes so long and is a pain. I will be switching to another bank very soon
