Not the best service but not the worst. I do believe they are understaffed. Very slow to responses. I do appreciate them coming up with a game plan and are very enthusiastic to help, but ultimately took too long (Years) to get a loan and wasted a lot of time. I wanted to also follow up with the reasoning and CFNB did not do so. Really felt like I was chasing them. This bank was referred to me, but again I think they do not have enough people. If you can see them in person or can walk into their bank maybe you will have better luck with communication.

I've banked here since the very first branch opened and was happy for many years. This used to be a small town bank run by hard working, down to earth people. Now it seems to be run by soft-handed individuals who cannot comprehend why people would want to build their own home or even that they have the ability to do so. The loan officers have no idea how much general contractors cost, yet insist that all the work must be done by a professional contractor. While some larger cities require that all or most of the construction be performed by a licensed contractor for rental/commercial reasons, it is definitely not the case with rural or farm properties because it is unnecessary and not feasible. Furthermore, the very idea that a person would need $150,000 in liquid assets to borrow $210,000 is absolutely preposterous. If a person had $150,000 laying around, what the hell would they need a loan for?

Great people here. Cars fuel pump went out as I was driving by... Multiple times offered assistance, drinks said it would be fine over night.. Next day another worker came out to help load it on car dolly... Thanks community!

I called ahead to ask about the kinds of accounts they offered to check that they could meet my needs. After confirming, I went in to set up the account, but nothing they had told me was accurate. So I did not set up the account. Wasted time.
