Had pretty bad credit following a divorce and my previous vehicle was totaled in an accident. Nobody else would take the chance to give me a loan for a car I had to have to keep working. Set up autopay and had no issues at all. The few times I had to call or visit in-person, they were friendly and helpful.

I paid on a financed truck for 4 years, the next to last payment I made a phone payment with my debit card the same way I had been doing for three years and ten months!! One day before my last payment was due I recieved a letter saying if I didnt pay my payment before the following day, which was the friday before the fourth of July they were going to turn it over to the collection agency!! Freaked me out because I knew I had called in a payment with my debit card and I knew I had plenty of money in my bank to have covered it. So next morning I tried to call DFWK as soon as they opened! They were closed. On a friday, the day that their letter I recieved the day before told me if I didnt make arrangement before that day, they were turning it over to their collection agency.!! What legit financial company closes on a friday before the Fourth of July. which was the following Monday!! Anyway, I couldnt get in contact with them till the tuesday after the fourth!! I called them that morning and ask them what was going on!! They told me there was some discrepancy with the information on the info on my debit card and the payment didnt go through. Said they tried to call me several times and couldnt get through to me. They had been using an old number to try and call me with that I hadn't had in over two years, so they said!@ I'm sure that they have caller ID on their phones. I had been using my current number for over 2 years. And they said they were using a number that was two years old. That wss a total lie. They did that to scam me out of a late charge and put a negative thing on my credit report!! They knew I wasnt going to pay three years and 10 months on an account and default on it the next to last payment. Anyway I paid that payment and the final payment day plus a big late charge which totaled over 1300 hundred dollars with the same debit card I had used the previous month and they never paused a second about making sure the info was right!! What really burnt me is they sent a statement to my credit report nearly a minth after I paid the account off saying I had failed to make two payments!! A total lie. They did all of this crooked scam type of business with me just to rip me off monetarily plus screw my credit score up, which dropped it from very good to fair!! They make their crooked money off of people with less then perfect, so they make sure that everyone that deal with them get their good or better credit score knocked down into the not good score!! I guess they consider that corrupt type of business dealings as job security no matter how much damage it does to individuals like me who finally had his credit score very good and to a seventy one year old wounded Viet Nam vet that was finally going to be able to get a low interestVA loan to build him a modest home that he could call his on, that was devastating!! Parasite companies like DFWK should have their liscense revoked and shut down!!

They gave me a chance when no one else would, I got in a very low mile 07 fully loaded Lincoln. I paid the low down payment I wanted to pay and my monthly payments are actually $50 less than I Was trying to get them. But. I have 3 issues.
1) no way to pay online, and get charged to use card.
2) they don't report monthly I've had to call them and aske them to report, it had been 3 months since they reported.
3) they don't offer refinancing. For instance when I bought the car, I had a 500 Credit Score I now have a 601, (I've been working hard at bringing it up). Every dealer and bank I talk to says I should easily qualify for refinancing or a new car loan now. But. Since interest rates are so high I still owe what the actual car cost was over a year ago. So if I traded in, most places only will pay 60-75% of what you owe on a vehicle, unless you owe less than it values. So I would have to get about $4,000 more added to my new loan if I traded in. Refinancing is hard because all major banks won't refinance anything older than an 09 and mine is an 07 with only 60k miles. So I am basically stuck paying 18.3% even though I now qualify for a loan with a rate of less than 9%, but it costs to much due to my current rate to do the trade to get the new interest rate on a loan.

I had a death in my family and had bank fraud all at once. I asked nicely to see what we could do to pay a partial payment and was told I either pay in full or they will take my car. Mind you I only have a car loan through them for a year due to me paying $4,000.00 already into the car. The car was $4,900.00 so I only financed $900.00 plus tax title and licensing fee. I ended up owing and financing $3,900.00 So my loan is not huge and I only have it for a year like I said. I ended up getting provisional credit for my fraud from my bank and called back to make the full payment and was told 2 different amounts by the same person. I was accused of being a liar. I was talked to like garbage by the payment arrangement/collector department then switched to the regular payment department. She took my info and was nice. Then I was given back to the payment arrangement/collector department where she again talked to me like dirt and hung up on me afterward. I had to call back to even find out if they took my payment info. She said they did and that they send them out in batches so it may not get taken out until later today or tomorrow. I have never heard of that from any finance company. Plus of course they charge you anytime you pay by card. Very strange business practices. I will be glad to finish out this year of hell and be done.

The people that answer the phone at this company are extremely rude and like to argue with paying customers. I have been on time every month with my payments and they are still rude every time I call. I wouldn't recommend this loan company to anyone. Shop elsewhere please do yourself a favor.

I have bought not one..but 2 vehicles through DFWK and I've always made my payments on time (ok mostly on time..lol). Sure the interest rate is high because my credit was bad. So, that IS to be expected. They have always been nothing but nice to me and on one occasion when I was going to have an issue making my payment, I simply called them and they gladly made arraignments. If you are serious about getting a car loan that you intend to pay back then you won't have any issues at all. If you are serious about keeping your credit score in the gutter and don't have the discipline to make your payments, then I suggest you try public transit. Because no company is going to put up with lack of payments or constant late payments. They have always been extremely nice to me and I plan on always giving them my business. Make your payments and everyone is happy. I find it comical that someone would actually post the 11 calls made to them from DFWK...hellllooo pay them and they'll stop calling. Not rock science.
Not harassment either. Want a solid second chance?...they will help you.

I have had my (first ever) car loan with them for almost 2 years now, and have never had any problems with them. The couple times that my payment was going to be late, I simply gave them a call to let them know and everything was just fine. No one came to try to repossess my car or any of the horror stories that some other reviews talk about. The ladies at the desk are always super nice when I go in to pay, and whomever I talk to when I pay by phone is never rude in the least bit. In summation, this company took a chance on me when absolutely no one else would, and for that, I’m very appreciative. I would definitely use their service again if needed and have already recommended them to quite a few friends. Thank you, DFWK, for taking a chance on me.
