Been going to this branch once a month or so for about five years. They are always extremely helpful and personable. Far and away the best bank/CU I’ve had. Obviously times being what they are we all need a little more patience with each other compared to pre-pandemic, but even with the understandable changes to how they operate I’ve never had a single experience here that wasn’t top-notch.

Local branch just closed out of nowhere due to staffing issues apparently. ATM is infrequently refilled at best, customer support on phone is very unhelpful and the next closest branch is about an hour away. I will most likely close account soon, shame since the bank was never a hassle for me before this.

Went on a trip to Costa Rica, called the bank and told them EXACTLY where I was going, both the town where we stayed and the airports which I traveled through. Two days into the trip the "fraud detection" went off THREE times and I was trapped in a foreign country without access to my money. Question 1: Why did it go off at all? Question 2: Why would my card still be open if it went off twice? After finding someone with a phone and sorting that BS out, it went off a THIRD time while I was on my way home, and I was unable to get a hotel for my layover.
Bottom Line: I should not have to ask for permission to spend my money. This in combination with the absolutely ridiculous business hours (anyone with a job is unable to get to the bank before 4) means its time to switch.

No more withdrawal slips, no more atm deposits, and the manager is rude. Yell your account number to the world, because small sheets of yellow paper are much too expensive. No atm fee reimbursement, no warnings on when they will close your account due to overdraft. I thought credit unions were supposed to be better than big banks, no?

Always personable and accommodating. My wife and I have been a customer of this bank for 5+ years. Michael McCormick has gone out of his way to help us at times. A great local bank!
