I really had a very very bad experience with this branch of OneMain financial. Initially they took all the documents and approved the loan online and one of the agent working in this office confirmed that my loan of a very small amount was approved and they scheduled an appointment with me to sign the documents in the office. I was shocked to know that they have rejeceted my loan when I went to sign the loan documents in their office. He said he will give me a call after sometime, but no call and I re-dialed the office after couple of days. The concerned person told me that my loan was rejected. This is a third class service from this branch of OneMain Financial please do not waste your time here. I felt discriminated here.

The manager is a horrible person. Whoever keeping this person hired should be ashamed of themselves to hire an individual like that with interest rates so high. I was a secret shopper. She was very rude speaking to staff and clients. Attitude alone will make cringe working for a person like that. I feel sorry for the employees that work there. Disgusting 🤢

I have gotten 3 loans from this company, and this will be my last. The service is very helpful when you need to get a loan but when you call about options on a current loan or have questions about your account it suddenly feels like you're bothering them. Originally, I was looking for different ways to add to my credit portfolio to show stronger credit history. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM CONVINCE YOU YOU NEED MORE THAN YOU NEED. Of course they will try to tell you how much more you can get.. and when you say no, they will be persistent! Don't be like me and cave in! I called about refinancing my loan if I pay a large amount of it off (they have a standard 24% rate), there was no bed side manner what so ever. The associate first started with what they will not do for me, when I was calling to see what my options are to start with. As the conversation went on, I learned he was the same person who originated my loan and it sounded like he was offended the entire time talking to me. Instead of nicely presenting my options, he made me feel like I was bothering him. When working in finance, you have to realize you are working with people and money and there should be a level of care, and consistency. I asked if there is someone I could meet in office to talk about making a large payment and refinancing to lower my payments. The individual paused, and asked "Well why would you need to come into the office" in a tone where it felt like I wasn't welcomed and continued to tell me he's worked in finance for 20 years, and maybe he doesn't do business the way I like to do business. Can you imagine that?! The whole experience has felt extremely icky, predatory and ugly. If you're going to work with a lender, work with someone who will work with you and actually be kind to you. It is still a lot of money, and I am still a client at the end of the day.
