Lied to twice... I informed the loan officer that I did not want to close either credit card accounts the day i went in inquiring about a consolidation loan, that I would just wait a few months and pay it off with my bonus from work if it came to that. Never was informed at any moment at the in person or the 40 second phone call or in any email. I have proof of all conversations minus the in person which was when I went in and inquired and said that I wouldn't do the loan if it meant closing either account as I had had both accounts for many years and worked hard for the credit lines I had. When i found out one account had been closed I was very angry. Spoke to discover they said maine savings closed it. I called the loan officer she was on vacation, so I had to wait... When i spoke to her all she could say was "I had to of told you" I told her no she did not tell me as i wouldn't have gone through with the loan. I asked her if she remembered our conversation the day I went in... She said yes, but then repeated herself "I had to of told you." Spoke to her supervisor who apologized and said he would contact discover to see if there was anything that could be done. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Spoke to discover today, No Contact has been made from Maine Savings. If I could give a no star review I would... Your employees are screwing people over and it doesn't seem to matter to management or probably even the CEO. I will be looking into better financial institutions for my money and finances.

Melissa, the branch manager, was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to my car loan, I have now opened two more accounts with Maine Savings Milo! It’s the personal service, care and attention to detail, all with a friendly and happy attitude that has made me a member for life.
