I had them for years without a problem. I have had two errors recently that were their fault. I figured I'd go in and explain and it would be okay. The manager I had to speak with was rude and refused to help. I had to report them through the Consumer Assistance Center and won. They also added new fees without properly telling anyone. When asked about it, they offer Kisasa but everything takes days to clear and there were problems with direct deposit going through or you can spend $25 and keep an account there. They really do not care about customer service any longer. The second incident (same as the first, their fault that I had to report), the same manager was rude, refused to help and I had to report again. Needless to say I started at another credit union who have been very helpful.

Love this credit union. I’ve been a member almost 30 years, and no complaints. I love the Kasasa program. Finally members can make a little money when it’s deposited.

I have always had Great service at Astera Credit Union. But Sheila Mitchell, lead service representative was exceptional!!! I saw Sheila for a car loan. I can honestly say she provided me with the best customer service I have ever had. Thank you so much Sheila!!! I appreciate you!!!

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️1015am 1 Sept 2023. Zero stars not 1. Manager Marshall and female coworker were rude, arrogant, and arguing with me. He interrupted me 4 times in less than 3 minutes. Spitting out " programmed responses" to make excuses for the terrible service here. 4 stations open with only 2 employees. But one employee in back doing nothing. A bank should have enough employees or IT SHOULD NOT BE OPEN!!!!!! drive thru speaker is so loud everyone in lobby can hear your private information. This bank has a terrible reputation, wish I got my loan somewhere else . They make countless mistakes and are very slow to correct them . These problems occur at almost every branch location. Some branches are not even open during normal bank business hours.

I will say that asters is either very far behind in service available or more than likely greedy. How can one credit union make large deposits available in 3 days and asters 7 days. Same credit union funds available from my direct deposit at midnight astera 9am. I go to work at 4 am and it’s much more convenient to do my banking on the way with no crowds. Not possible with astera. And god help you if you try and call. They are not growing just shrinking.
