In July of 2021 my sister passed away after being incoherent for several weeks while a member of Lake Trust. Before we could freeze her account, her former "friend" went to this branch two days before her death and emptied her account of $15,000. She presented a handwritten note from 8+ years ago giving her authority to do so. No one questioned this withdrawal and handed the money over. My sister died with no money for bills or burial. This act was inexcusable. This "friend" also stole all cash within my sister's house as EMS left the door unlocked. Lake Trust operates without protecting their customers accounts.

While I don't use the drive threw so I can not speak to the service there, there is never a wait when I go inside and the experience is always fast and friendly. Coin machine to count loose coins for you as well. Love this bank!!

I went into Lake Lansing branch to close my account today. And the person helping me close it is lacking in the customer service department. She was very condescending from beginning to end of the process. Which proved even more why I needed to change credit unions!

Busiest day of the month and the entire drive-thru is unavailable, the unprofessional behavior at this location is sometimes staggering. My teller made a simple math mistake and was frustrated when I asked to have the cash facing in the same direction. Shape up or the dot-coms are going to run you out of business !

I went into Lake Trust to open an account today. Josh helped me and was kind, knowledgeable, and walked me through the process. He was amazing, answered all my questions and made me so comfortable with belonging to a new credit union I didn’t know much about. I highly recommend this location- make sure to see Josh if you can!

Very poor customer service. I feel they mishandled the account of my 100 yr old family member, gave her money away after I contacted them trying to straighten the account out.
