I am thankful for One Main helping me try to rebuild my credit after my husband passed away. I'm still struggling financially but I am just trying to look to new beginnings.

Horrible service. Signed paperwork specifying automatic withdrawl from my bank account. They "entered the wrong amount" so they then take out 25 percent more than I agreed to from my account. Then, they mailed me a form to sign, saying that would fix the issue. That was signed and mailed back. Nothing changed, same amount withdrawn again.. Then I had to go back to the office in person to fill out the same paperwork again. Maybe next month it will be right, but I have zero confidence in that.

I have been dealing with this Co. for some time and at first things were wonderful. However they quickly took a turn for the worse.! They contacted me in Feb due to me being an outstanding customer as they do with other customers I'm sure. Never had a missed pymnt nor late pymnt. They called and asked if I needed anything due to being a great customer, against my better judgement I went for the offer they presented me with. They asked for documents, and I provided. Now remind you even thought they're calling you, they still run a HARD credit CK. this was 2/19/20, I was told not to worry about my March pymnt bc the new loan offer would be finalized. After numerous calls back and forth and my March due date was nearing they said no worries.. Well I had a family emergency and was told we would complete everything once I return. March pymnt date came and went, rec'd another call from OneMain stating they needed updated documents and we're now in March, the 20th to be exact. Was told 'WE'LL CALL YOU BACK TO COME IN AND COMPLETE YOUR PWRK" NO ph call, so I called and had to leave a msg.. No return call until the following Monday 3/23/20 stating that My loan couldn't be approved not to mention that they ran ANOTHER HARD ck on my credit 3/20/20.. I told them due to their lack of responsibility I now have a late pymnt which I've NEVER HAD.. and now have to make 2 pymnts .. The manager tells me to drop a ck off and she will back date it. I am contacting the Corporate Office because I feel like they need to forgive March pymnt due to their lack!! and contact the Credit Reporting Agencies and REMOVE that 2nd Hard ck on my credit. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ONE MAIN AGAIN.. THEY CONTACTED ME WITH THE OFFER, I DID NOT CONTACT THEM AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIER LACK. BEYOND ANGRY!!

I'm so grateful that OneMain Financial gave me the benefit of the doubt! Trying to be a responsible adult is stressful at times but they sure helped me out and gave me a few options to choose from.. I know that I will definitely be using them for the future! Thanks Mikayla!! You were amazing and great to talk to :)

I was looking for a loan and I used LendingTree to help me and two of the pre approved offers I received were through One Main Financial. I continued with the pre approval and was successfully approved all I had to do was contact One Main Financial to verify documents . Bad experience, I’ve never been Approved for an Loan and then not be able to get it. What makes it worse is the lady Tracy didn’t seem to care much to compromise and maybe make something else work , lower the loan amount, add a co signer etc....

Margaret needs a lesson on costumer service. Very rude and rushed, felt as if I was bothering her. Seeing as it’s literally her job to help people, I was expecting better service. Would recommend any other staff member.

Horrible customer service. Lost my dad very suddenly. Have never been late on a payment and when I seen I was, I paid it. Got a phone call the next day saying I have a 15.00 late fee. And I went On the app and made a double payment by mistake. I didn't ask for a refund figured that was good enough. Well they still call wanting the late fee. What a joke.

I didn't know it could be so quick n straight forward. No hidden BS. Many options to fit the way I wanted the loan instead of a "take it or leave it" approach. Highly recommend 👍 …
