Check `n Go, Melvindale, MI

I went in on 9/16/22 around 2pm. One women was helping a customer while another tried her absolute best to ignore me. After about ten minutes, I believe it was Jennifer looked at me and said she’s going to lunch. Then proceeded to stand there distracting the other employee for 5 minutes trashing the employees of the Southgate store while loudly proclaiming she’s been at Melvindale for ten years. Incredibly unprofessional. After waiting a few more minutes, I heard the woman working tell her customer she’d have to accept a check in order to get her funds. Without a doubt, the customer should have been told that before going through the entire process of opening the loan in the first place. This location stinks. I’m glad I decided to figure out another option than to take a loan from this store.

Never have I EVER encountered the rudest customer service in my life but to top it off these employees can't even explain what is needed from their customers and im not one to allow anyone to talk down to me but better bite your tongue here while the colored woman usually working at the 2nd counter is tolerable (usually way nicer when her coworker isn't around badgering her to insult ppl because she has no problem treating randoms like scum) I cannot wait to find another location that's friendly and doesn't act like they're above their pay grade or better than the next person. I wish I knew corporates number so I could Personally explain. Also, always be kind and humble because ya never know how much weight one is carrying on their shoulders and this woman made me almost drop all of my baggage and drop down into tears because she was so disrespectful and doesn't deserve to work with the public. Surely if she did I doubt that much rudeness gets her very far. I see im not the only one complaining about 'Jennifer'

Tristan is an absolute rock star!!!! She is sweet and kind, an absolute dream to speak with. She is very professional and efficient. This girl had to deal with a rude and nasty customer in front of us, and Tristan kept her composure. This girl DESERVES a raise. Upper management, if you are seeing this, you have an absolute gold mine with Tristan. Thank you again darling, you really are one in a million. ❤️❤️❤️

Worst experience ever, it took 40 minutes just to cash a check. They need to call your employer to verify your check. Just go to a regular bank. Don’t waste your time!

Great place to come Manager is always friendly and very helpful. Even when its long lines she gets things moving and never feels like your waiting long.

Went there with a $1,500 check and the girl acts like they don't have enough money to cash the check and then we ask her if there's any other locations and she says we got to look it up very poor customer service and how the hell don't you guys have $1,500

Treat people with respect even if you don't know rude is not very business like I would not go here again
