Taylor was amazing! We refinanced our car loan from another institution at a lower rate. He even got us a lower rate for another loan that we had from another institution. He answered our questions fully. We were in and out quickly. He was very prompt in getting back to us.

Been banking there for over 30 years, and the place is gone downhill like a rocket. Have to stand in the doorway while one or two people work at the counter; it's always a wait. Don't even try the drive-thru!! No one knows who you are...I went there yesterday to cash a small check, gave them my acct #, and the member told me "we don't have an ID for you on file"....?! Say what? Had no idea what she was talking about, had my ID in hand, but she never asked for one. When I asked what she meant, she said "we have no way to ID you"....say what???!!!! I still don't know what she was talking about...
No local phone numbers, poor customer service. Stand and wait.,etc. And their website is continually down or not working.
They need to close up.

I love this credit union! They are so helpful and they are a huge rarity in the banking industry because they simply care. They do so much for the community in addition to being wonderful toward their customers. Whether you are going to use this for personal banking or business banking, you definitely need to consider going to Affinity Plus. Now my only complaint is that they need more locations!

Best credit union hands down - they work with your situation, not solely on credit score. Yesterday I entered the Rochester drive-thru line for the first time in months and the member representative remembered me by name, even though he hadn't seen me in probably close to 6 months. Wonderful CU, wonderful employees and the branch manager Billie is a valuable asset to your team. Thanks Affinity Plus!

90% of my interactions with Affinity have been laden with poor communication, delays, or systems that don't work. Simply not how I want to be doing my banking. The people are nice, and if Affinity can up their communication standards, expectations, and systems in a jiffy, they'll be just fine, but to do so will need a hefty overhaul.
Edit on 10/7/21: Downgrading from my review from two-stars to a one-star. They sent me another statement today for an account I closed in July despite repeatedly asking them to stop mailings.
I see Affinity's response to my review to get in touch with further information. I've shared my experience via email, on the phone, and in person with Affinity personnel a dozen times. If they are not logging it in my file and passing it on to the proper channels, then it is Affinity's job to put better systems in place, not for me to call and share my bad experience once again.

Been with them for couple years. But I had a small overcharge for less than 2 weeks my direct deposit came in went to the mobile app to check to see what I got and said error occurred well I call them after attempting to sign in to the app. And they say “oh we closed your account” like huh?? Without even saying anything? When I told you over the phone I’d have a deposit in the next 3 days to cover my overcharge. So I couldn’t go into my app, pull money out of my now savings account, it’s restricted and you have to call and get that undone, also if you want to get ur checkings account back you’ll have to wait 6+ months like pffft SCREW that I’m switching went to Think Bank and I’m glad about it.
IF YOU WANT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO STAY MAYBE CALL THEM AND TELL THEM THEY HAVE TO GET MONEY IN AT A CERTAIN TIME BESIDES CLOSING THEIR ACCOUNT WITHOUT SAYING ANNNNYYYYTHING!!!!!

Applied for a Land Loan online to acquire a lot in town where I live. I am not exaggerating when I say I have received HUNDREDS of spam calls - and many spam texts. However the one call I never received was from Affinity following up on my loan app. more than happy to put an inquiry on my credit - but no call or email. Needless to say I went elsewhere and sealed a deal with a different lender in less then a couple days. DO NOT waste your time here - go somewhere else.

Their website says they have walk-in service. Not accurate ! There were 4 people there and not one of them could process my new membership. One had to go to lunch, two were on computers and the guy standing behind the person said he couldn't pull anyone off computers. I drove in from out of town assuming that there was customer service available.
