I recently purchased a 2005 Mazda 3 from Title Cash of MIssouri that was listed for sale on Craigslist as in good working condition. I purchased this car after a short test drive around the parking lot only to find on my drive home that the car pops out of third gear when accelerating. I contacted the lady that I dealt with the following day to let her know the situation and she asked that I take the vehicle to someone to find out what the problem was and told me that she would follow up with the management to see what they could do.
Long story short, I took the car to a reputable transmission shop and was told that it needed a transmission and clutch. I forwarded this information along to Title Cash and was told that they weren't auto dealers and that they weren't going to help out with the repairs at all.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, hopefully this business will do the right thing and either help pay for the repairs on this misrepresented purchase or allow me to return it so they can deal with the issue.
