Online customer service is not useful. Wait time is long. Was told it would take 3 days for someone to let me know what my loan payoff amount is. Unacceptable :(

Worst home loan experience I've ever had. Very impersonal, and inefficient processes. I'd rather get a home loan from Walmart then this bank. I'm over glacier bank, they've gone down hill over the years as they've gone up the corporate ladder.

Kicked me out of my bank account on the 4th of July weekend I did nothing wrong with my account us online banking everyday and now I can't log in can't check my balance my account is now inactive and nothing to be done til Tuesday because of the excessive holidays they take off can't wait to leave this bank. 4 days later now July 5th and I now I can't get them to answer the phone 15 minutes waiting now and I don't think there gonna answer and I've tried right at 9 am and in the afternoon I work nights I can't stay up all day just to make this call. I did but no results when they won't answer the phone

I'm writing this to share my experiences. When I first opened my account, this bank seemed pretty awesome. As the years went by I've noticed errors and frustrating events. Since I don't have exact detail on the past ones, I will share my most recent one. I called in about a fraudulent charge on my card. I was told that my card would be shut off due to policy, not put on a hold. I gave them the address of the hotel that I was staying in. That was April 6th 2022 and fast forward to May 3rd after my card has still not shown up. I got some excuse that my card was undeliverable by FedEx, that's odd because I've received several sensitive items at the hotel I was extended staying in via FedEx. The gal I spoke to again recognized I called in before. She sent me an email regarding my card and the shipping of it over-night and told me she would pass the tracking number to me the following morning. 2 days passed and I still didn't receive my bank card, so I replied to the email asking if there was a tracking number yet. I got no response to that email. 4 days later I emailed the gal again expressing my frustration with this ordeal. I still didn't get a response. Today May 9th 2022 I called the bank because I'm pretty frustrated with this situation even more that I still don't have an over nighted card. I talked to a different gal this time around. I was informed they have tried calling me, apparently communication and updating info isn't their strong suit. I haven't received any calls from the bank. I was under the impression that email would be the method of contacting me. I was informed that their third party company didn't get around to making my card til today. I had to resort to "bill pay" to send money to my fiancé... which took from Thursday to Monday. Again no real way to access my money to pay bills or eat without having gotten late fees because a lack of follow through. How can I keep companies updated if I don't get updates. Most of the companies I get bills from, are under the impression that I am jerking their chain. Why didn't I get responses to my emails? Why didn't I get any updates instead of leaving me hanging? The professionalism I encounter has been going down hill. Poor communication, poor attention to detail, and poor follow through doesn't instill confidence with a bank. Oh not to forget, they actually cashed a check that wasn't mine. It was my supervisors check. The shop manager accidentally handed me my supervisors check and glacier bank cashed it with out verifying last name. One would figure, if I missed the last name and my shop manager missed it too that the bank would have caught it (as it is thier job), but they didn't. Things were made right with extra effort from myself and the understanding from my supervisor. I should have not turned a blind eye to all the red flags I encountered with Glacier Bank. I normally don't do reviews unless a business has had extremely great or poor service. This is a rare instance that I really hope no one else encounters this situation. I'm honestly changing over to a credit union, I haven't had nearly as much issues with them vs non credit unions.

Their helpful and pleasant demeanor made the process a breeze. Plus, the fantastic program for those over 55 motivated me to open a new account. Highly recommend this bank for their outstanding team and services!"

I’ve had fantastic service with Glacier Bank. They have spotted fraud activity quickly on my account a couple of times before any charges could be made. Amazing fraud division. I also love the free checks.
I’ve always been treated with the upmost respect and like I was their most important customer. They’ve gone above and beyond many times to assist me with several issues. Their fraud department is swift and they’re completely dedicated to keeping my banking and account very secure and updating my funds. You can’t beat that type of dedication and service. It’s astounding to me how quickly fraud is detected by them. It’s amazing! I don’t have much money at all so every dollar is extremely valuable to me. It’s not as if they’re making money from me. They treat me as if was the wealthiest customer they have.
II’ve never had a negative interaction with anyone there in the past 9+yrs. You can sleep well knowing that they are watching over your account/accounts.
I’m extremely pleased with my experience with them and I highly recommend. I give them a 10 out of 10 star rating.
