I made an honest mistake and I had help from Taylor who went out of her way to fix my records and personal balance. It’s hard to find wonderful and helpful people especially in banking. I hope she is Compensated for her worth!! Restored my faith and trust in this establishment and local branch. 5 stars for her

I have banked with them for 10 plus years, and never had an issue. We have several things that automatically come out of our checking. When a payroll check did not post until 2 days after we were told it would. Silly us thinking that the direct deposit would post on the day it we were told. We were hit with over $200 in overdraft fees. I called to talk with them about it the said they could only refund less than half of the fees that were charged. I find that unrealistic, they should be willing to work with their customers especially in a struggling economy. Shame on you First Security Bank, for making it harder for the working class to survive. Its time to start finding a new bank, one that is there for there customers especially in these hard times.

Teller was nice, but service was slow. I wanted a certain amount back & had written a 4 not a 7. Instead of asking me if that was right, she changes it & gives me less money on the deposit & more money back??!!

This rating would've been higher, except that on 24 March 2021, a teller at one of the branches (I wasn't told which branch, only that old checks are honored or not at the teller's discretion) honored a check I had written to the Missoula Finance Office on 24 August 2020. The check was for my sewer bill, written for $92 and change. I had just returned home from a vacation and only had $3.34 in my account, but the teller saw fit to put the 9-month-old, deader-than-a-doornail check through my account. By the time I found out, I had massive overdraft fees. The fees were reversed, when I called the 800 number in Wyoming and the person there saw what happened, how old the honored check was, but that didn't change the fact of what that teller did. I complained to two different branches, two different managers, both of whom promised to investigate. Yet, I heard nothing back. Judge for yourself if the teller's action was reasonable or not. It'll stick in my craw for a long while to come.

I'm always treated like a second class person at this bank in particular. It's not customer service, it's more like "what do you want, and tell me where everyone can hear your business." It's annoying and discriminatory. I love my person, but my person was not available today.

Don't do any kind of business with or trust your hard earned money to this bank. I opened a CD with Madeline and asked all the questions one would when investing their money. Term? Percentage? What to expect for interest? Ability to add more funds to existing CD without any interruption or interest rate. Etc. Was falsely told what to expect and that funds could be added without any issue all to find out all information provided was incorrect. Was told that these things happen and it is what it is even after she admitted fault and simply pawned me off on her superior instead of taking any kind of initiative to fix her mistake. I was unable to talk to the VP of operations Lynn Riley when she reached out to me as I was working. Attempted to call her back 3 times with no answer. I left voice mails every attempt. 2 weeks have passed with no response. Worst customer service. If I treated my customers like this I would be out of business. Yet another 1 star review to add to the growing list of them for this bank.

This review is not of the Missoula Branches of First Security. They are excellent in customer service. I unfortunately called on Columbus Day which I did not understand the banks were closed. I had a basic question regarding making a mobile deposit. I patiently waited for 20-21 min for a representative of Glacier Bank . The representative who answered had a poor attitude at the get go. His tone was condescending and downright rude. I have worked call centers with over 350 people waiting . I would have never spoken to any customer the way that representative did to me. Maybe he was at the end of his shift ….I sure hope so. Unfortunately, I have experienced rudeness and inattentive service at the Glacier Bank in Polson as well. I guess I just expect people to greet me with a smile and actually be acknowledged at the place I conduct my Banking. VERY disappointed with my bank’s human interaction.
