I was a Suntrust customer due to unpleasant dealings with BB&T Bank. Now I am treated with COMPLETE disrespect any time I have a problem & they realize I was with Suntrust Bank. Time to put my money elsewhere! Run, do not walk, stay away from Truist Bank!!

Did not send me any fraudulent alerts even though I had them sent out and I got robbed of 3 THOUSAND DOLLARS. I just got an alert today for a charge of $400 meanwhile 4 days ago $800 charges were being made and not a single notification about that even though the charges were from California. Horrible horrible service. Cops are involved now as well waiting to see if I get it back before moving further.

With such bad service, you’d swear they were a government agency!
The only thing slower than them are (arguably) the DMV.
I’d like to extol their customer service, but it’s more like disservice.
Not only did the employees appear like they were making every effort to run down the clock on a Friday, but you can tell that they were annoyed by having to do their job.
We were waiting for over 22 minutes just to close an account.
Of this wait, around 4 minutes were standing in line with one person in front of us & another 3 minutes were sitting in the lobby waiting before being addressed.
Once they finally got to us, the wait was even longer.
The only silver lining was the fact that we finally closed out our account and never need to deal with them again.
At this rate, they’re going to go the way of Barnett Bank.

I start most of my days by going to SunTrust. I am not a morning person and I never liked going to banks. Probably because I'm not a very patient person, but the staff here make everything worthwhile. I started my own business and made an account at this branch. I frequently call this branch to ask questions and the staff have always been professional and patient with me. From the day I opened my account at SunTrust, everyone (I mean literally every teller/banker/manager at this branch) has been so helpful and kind. Miriam and Jennifer made me start like going to banks. I swear if there were more people like them, the world would probably be a better place.

This bank is horrible and this branch is HORRIBLE. even the branch manager/leader Jennifer is rude and does not care about customer satisfaction. Availability is very important when it comes to money, and I can never get my money when I need it! Their systems are always down, ATM doesn’t work and their workers don’t give a freakin DANG. Every call with customer service takes 10x longer than needed, tellers don’t do anything to help you, the branch manager literally smiles/laughs and shrugs like “oh well”. Bad bad business. go elsewhere. Oh also, when you report fraud, they don’t remove the charge for 60 days and so then you get a 60-day late fee stuck to your credit report. usually banks remove the charge and then re-charge if their investigation comes back that it’s not fraud, yeah not here, they mess with your credit score and tack on a bunch of fees.

horrible bank i recommend everyone reading this review to take out their money or consider another bank. the branch manager here Jennifer Allen, is very rude and condescending. I came in to withdraw my money and was told to do it in the ATM. Mind you it was over 2000. They told me to call their customer service to increase my ATM limit. when questioning why they can’t withdraw it for me, they state it’s easier in the ATM. I spend about 30 minutes on the phone to increase my limit. once increased the ATM states you can’t withdraw more than 1200. I feel a manager should know their own ATM withdrawal limits. After wasting this time, i go back in to take my money out. the manager Jennifer Allen is smirking the entire time i’m telling her how inconvenient and unnecessary this all was. She continues smirking and says to go to a grocery store to get my money. Again this is over 2000 dollars so this is a stupid recommendation. She continued staring at me with a rude, condescending smirk and shrugged her shoulders. When i told her i’d be contacting their district leadership she smirked and chuckled and said “ok”. Horribly unprofessional, rude, and not helpful. if these are the people you choose to be your branch “leader” then this tells me all i need to know about this “bank”. would rate 0 stars if i could.

The worst bank ever. Not just where I live now but where I lived before. I didn’t have the choice because my bank got absorbed into this bank that feels like it is 3rd world. I’m not going to elaborate because my blood pressure is high even. But if you have a choice make it NOT be Truist. You’ll thank all of us telling you to avoid the pain. I’m changing banks next week even though it’s a big hassle to start over. But I literally can’t stand it anymore.
