They are 'fine,' but there is nothing that makes Gate City Bank stand out over any other banks in town now that they got rid of their online Money Management Tool as of Sept. 2022. That was the only reason we switched our accounts here. Now we are looking elsewhere for another bank with a great online management program.

I am extremely impressed with the EXCELLENT customer service that I consistently receive at Gate City Bank Downtown Fargo, Branch #1001. I would like to recognize Makena and Amelia! Makena was relentless in hunting me down to deliver my personal crock pot! For becoming a new customer. She is AMAZING! I accidentally called Makena, Amelia. Sorry Makena. Amelia also provided TOP NOTCH customer service! She was very efficient in getting me signed in and had a private office prepared swiftly! I have never felt so welcomed at any other financial institution than I have at Gate City Bank in Downtown Fargo. Thank you!

Jessica and Kim at this branch displayed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Miguel edited details about my account without my authorization. All shortly after I reported discrepancies and errors, resulting in otherwise unnecessary expenses, for which GateCity was at fault, such as issuing a card with a cancelled number. Despite promising reimbursement and verbally admitting their mistake, only months later and several stressful phone calls offering only excuses, some compensation was received.
While inquiring about it at this location I was literally ridiculed, laughed at and offered no solutions. Overall I felt bullied and harassed here because they didn't want to be held accountable for their mistake. I was a loyal 10-year customer until this occured.

Guess they just close the drive thru at whatever time they feel like it. Been using the drive through cashing for months after 6pm because I work overnights. Absolute garbage to just start closing it at 6pm. At least I won't have to bother deciding if I want to make an account here.

Chad made the process of closing on home so easy. He was extremely attentive and available to answer any questions we might have had during the process, whether it was during normal business hours or not. Love working with Gate City Bank!

This was one of my favorite Banks when I first moved into town in 2014 however when I found out that they were a live or real-time Bank it became a knowledge that I was unaware of and managed to get myself in trouble financially however working in a bank years ago I wasn't accustomed to not having the 3:00 cut off in order to manage my banking. There were several times that I had overdrafts due to debits coming in before I could make my deposit that's the only complaint I have other than that they are a wonderful Bank excellent people very kind and friendly and knowledgeable employees thank you for being there Gate City I may never bank again but I like working with you!
