I was in the process of getting a new car and was referred to Anthony. He was very professional, easy to talk to, and skilled. Anthony went above and beyond with providing excellent customer service. I do not know much about car loans, but Anthony eased my stress by taking care of things to make sure my needs were met. I felt very comfortable as a new customer and would highly recommend going to him.

DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT UNION!!! I purchased a 2001 car, with less than 30K miles, from a local dealer and was able to secure financing through Mutual 1st. I had to get approval fast as to not let the vehicle slip through my fingers. The rate for the 48 month term was high, but my plan was to pay off the loan asap. I had to open an account in order to get the loan and put next to nothing in the account. I paid off the loan within the first 6 months. During this time, I had called the credit union twice for information on the loan only to be told they would call me back. Not once did I receive a return phone call. As for the very small balance of $9.80 I had in my account, I just recently received my statement from them showing 2 withdrawals for "INACT/DORM FEE", reducing my balance to ZERO. Today I tried to call and see where I'm required to maintain a balance or activity, only to wait on hold. As others have mentioned on their reviews, you hold forever and then the call hangs up! Well, I'm glad to be done with these guys and I won't be coming back...EVER!

Mutual 1st is the best financial institution in the Omaha area. Anthony is wonderful to work with and through his financial guidance and lending and debt consolidation options we have greatly improved our credit and long-term financial situation over the past couple years. Recently, we worked with Pam on our mortgage refinance. It was an easy and painless process - she kept up informed throughout and was great to work with. Also, no private bank can beat the checking and savings account benefits of a member-owned credit union.

The WORST service I’ve received in my life!!!! I am not from the area and seen on the website they were open until 1 and called and verified over the phone because I was driving from a city over 30 minutes out. I get here and a representative of the bank is conducting a bridal shower inside the bank which is super unprofessional and tells me to leave. I explain to her that a representative told me they were open until 1. At this point I realize there wasn’t much she could do as far as servicing me but she could have tried to sort out the disconnect from her and the website hours, maybe even apologize for the inconvenience it caused on me “the customer” who is innocent in of all this. Instead she threatens to call the cops on me after I was inconvenienced from the inaccurate information provided from the bank representative. Not only did I get treated with poor customer service but I was treated like I was a criminal. I’m serving in the Air Force at Offutt Afb and have never been more ashamed to serve for someone like her. I also had my two year son with me as she threatened me. I will be contacting everyone about this issue.

Website needs alot of work. I have never had so much trouble with an account being locked up when I provided the correct informtion. Need to get with the program and do a code verification via phone. We would like to pay our bills instead of having to call! Drive through service is Fast and Friendly, no issues there.

This institution makes it INCREDIBLY difficult to make payments towards loans. I was told over the phone the way to bypass a $15 fee for using a debit card towards my auto loan was to stop by a branch. So I drove 25 minutes to the nearest location only to be told I cannot use a debit card in store. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't recommend using this institution & I cannot wait until I'm finished with them.

Bad experience this last service with them. Will not use again, will take my business to a bank that can return my calls and get their work done in a reasonable manner for their customers.
