I left Wells Fargo to join this bank a few years ago. I don't know if this bank is losing money but they closed the location that is close to my house so I now have to drive 6 miles to visit my bank. There isn't even a location in Artesia anymore where I originally opened my account. The location on Pennsylvania is much slower. I'm writing this review while waiting in the drive thru, which is very poorly laid out. So far I've been waiting 20 minutes just to deposit a check. I can no longer recommend this bank to anyone and I will be looking for a new banking service once my school semester ends.

My father banked here before he died. I have no experience with being the person responsible for an estate, so I went into the bank to ask questions. I was treated like a thief trying to steal my father's money. I received no sympathy, or help from this bank. The first time I went I was told the death certificate would be enough to close the account. The second time I presented the death certificate I was told to fill out a form and wait 30 days. I don't mind doing things right, but I do mind being told wrong, and treated poorly. The people in this bank have zero customer service skills. A year later I'm trying to file my father's taxes, this bank is charging me every fee they can throw at me even though their customer service said they have the option to waive the fees. So they're just out to make as much money off anyone they can. Of course. Just disheartening to know that they'll even rip you off after you're dead.

I always have the best customer service at this location! Lindsay was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. It’s always nice to go in and see everybody smiling. One of the best banks I’ve used.

I’ve been banking with WAfd for a couple years now and want to say that they have fantastic customer service. Two times now I got “spammed” and their fraud detection caught it before transactions went through. I have taken advantage of the 13 month CD and the rates are great.
Everyone that I have spoken with at the main branch has been extremely helpful and seemed to really care about me
