Best banking experience in the US, so far. Was looking for an auto loan and approached Ajee Anderson from Poughkeepsie branch. The application process was simple and well laid out. The rates are competitive, with no closing cost and flexible payment options. Amanda Stokes from Wappingers branch helped with the loan sanctioning. She was extremely professional, courteous and detail oriented. Highly recommend this business overall.

I bought out my leased vehicle and the dealership was being very pushy about me financing through them.Tyreik at TEG helped me get a better rate then the dealership was going to give me.

If I could give less then 1 star I would. I never have a problem with the Poughkeepsie branch ever. My paycheck was deposited wrong. Call the 24/7 help center witch is an oxymoron and they can't do anything. Stay away from this branch because now here I sit on a Sunday nice and hungry because I cant access any of my money. Probably closing account after this experience.

Person who could notarize something for me refused to do so because it was five minutes before her lunch break. Didn’t know it took that long for two signatures. Horrible customer service.

Worst bank ever. When or if you deposit money into one of their branch ATMs, your money will not go into your account on the same day. Instead you will have to wait for the next day for the money to go into your account. If you want it to go in your account(s) on the same day, you will have to go inside and speak to a teller. I also try calling the bank to get my checkings account number because I needed it for my insurance for automatic withdrawals, and they told me that I have to come in to get that kind of stuff even if I provide them with my social, first and last name, address/zip, phone number or with the over the phone password. HVFCU asks for your name,address, phone number and over the phone password and once you have provided everything, you can have the infomartion that you need. I can’t even get my member number over the phone w/ this ppl. This is insane and I don’t know why I even bother opening an account w/ this bank. TEG, Not everybody has time to stop by one of your branches to get the information that someone needs. People work and have things to do. What an inconvenient bank you guys are.

I decided to use TEG for a my new car as they were slightly cheaper then Ford Financial - this turned out to be a big mistake.
Sadly, they don't have any customer service (expect to wait on hold 45 plus minutes until you get disconnected), phone agents aren't problem solvers. Finally, their online portal is exceptionally limited. Making paying online is hit or miss. You are forced to visit a branch to facilitate a rather basic transaction.
#TEG doesn't deserve your business!
