Many years ago when I was looking to buy my first house, community bank was willing to work with me when no other banks would.
I was young, I had ok Financials and pretty good credit but not the best. They treated me with respect and were very transparent. We were able to make a plan with the money I had, and I got the house. I still live in that house, and I won't soon forget how gracious community bank was throughout the buying process.

I put one star but if I could I would give a NEGATIVE of a thousand as my bereaved sister came into this bank on this past Friday to close the account of our just recently deceased mother who had been a customer of this bank for even before it became Community Bank. The person who my sister was directed to and talked with was a NASTY CALLOUS IGNORANT BLATANTLY OFFENSIVE individual that has absolutely NO BUSINESS even being allowed to speak to customers....an employee who never even said I'm sorry for your loss....not one single expression of sympathy.
just proceeded to not explain but BERATE my sister and belittle her detailing what she COULD or COULDN'T DO - this is the way Community Bank is represented by an employee who has not one ounce of couth in her body. WELL how unfortunate for us that we never had our mother die unexpectedly and without warning so we REALLY had no idea HOW to close her account lady. So sorry we did not know what YOUR BANK POLICIES ARE and that you had no training in which you were TAUGHT how to speak to bereaved families while they are still processing and grieving the substantial loss of their mother.
So when we return to CLOSE OUT this account according to your bank policies I hope to be with my sister so I can directly look into the eyes of such a pathetic and sad person.
