I spent 20 min on hold to talk to the person on the phone. They couldn't answer my question unless I came too the store. Been here awhile phone's backed up. Still waiting in line. There is only 1 person at the window doing anything. Old dirty ceiling tiles.

They are awesome!!! Always so nice to me when I come in!!! All around a great environment!!! If you need to cash a check or get some money be sure to come here because the people here are great and we need more service like them!!!!

Staff is friendly and helpful. It's just too expensive to get a loan from them. Ohio has changed laws though and it's set up a different way now but I don't fully understand it so I won't comment on it. Staff is cool though and they will explain things to you if you need them to.

Ive been a checksmart customer for many years .never have I recieved such unprofessional .bias service as I recieved at the Boardman ohio location ..Ive lived in different states and recently moved backed to the area where I see that discrimination unfortunately still exist in certain areas of Mahoning County .Checksmart is Bias shows discrimination and has poor customer service.i recieved a presettlement funding check for my lawsuit .i took it to checkamart in Boardman ohio to be cashed .the lady looked at the check and said what kind if check.is this i told her its a presettlement check.she then said ahe has seen many checks and never seen one like that..then after having me wait for 35 mins she saidahe felt weird about the check and thought it was fake ..i was shocked I told her ms. I would never bring a fake check in the store inasked her to call my settlement attorney and he could verify being that legal funding was closed for the day.she should of just called the bank the check was from..i exoressed my issue saying ms. Thats not how you speak to custumers accusing a person of aomething thats not true based on what you think .i even showed her my email from legal funding.the manager was just as rude as her and told me to leave the store .i didnt raise my voice didnt do anything but asked her why she would say my check.she felt funny about as if im not sapose to have a 1400 hundred dollar check.It left there feeling humiliated as ofher custumers were in the store.Im felt like inwas treated as a criminal for going in to the store that ive been going to years trying to cash my settlement checking.no.one deaerve that treatment.rhe discrimination that rhe store shows is totally not acceptable .they ate cashiers we are the costumers.i once went to the Boardman location to cash a money order and I got the third degree about a 100 dollar money order.boardman ohio checks mart anf management gets 0 stars.how dare you accuse someone of something without knowing your facts based on how you feel.why did the cashier feel the check.was fake ? I wonder if she woukd of treated a white custumer like she treated me

The staff is great. Very helpful. And go out of their way to help with whatever they. Great check cashing experience. I will recommend them to everyone. Thanks goes out to the store for everything they have done. Boardman, Ohio CheckSmart.
