I was turned down because I have no credit the loan could have built my credit I even offered to have it set up on automatic withdrawals. I felt it was a waste of gas they sent me pre-approval but they lied

Usery they rip ppl off to much paperwork to overwhelm and confuse ppl. So sad we pay $300.00 on the loan and only $2.64 goes towards the loan where does the rest of the money go very confusing. Never again. -1 star.

I went in to talk about lease buyout options and representative Steven Pitts was available to talk. He made me feel like I was bothering him just by being there. He didn’t seem to know what a lease buyout was. Honestly I’m still unsure if they even do car loans at all- I kept getting the runaround. He brushed off my questions then got frustrated that I wouldn’t answer his questions (that were clearly trying to lead me to a bigger personal loan which I stated multiple times I wasn’t interested in). The questions he was asking demonstrated that he wasn’t listening to a word I said. He clearly only cared about getting the biggest commission he could. He also put his personal phone number on the back of his card advertising his side business. Overall the experience was frustrating and unprofessional.

What a horrible place, not only do they lower your credit score, they will also insult you and not give you a loan. My advice look somewhere else.

They were very professional and a pleasure to work with so far. I expect the same throughout the loan. They were helpful and worked quickly and proficiently. I appreciated their knowledge and help.

Did a referral to this company since they had helped me out during a hard time however; didn't receive referral fee. When inquired was told that my referral didn't list my name on application. My referral went into the office and OneMain employee submitted application on company computer and he didn't include my name on application so I don't qualify. My referral told the man that assisted her that I referred her and she called me afterwards. Yes she was approved and so l called to inquire about referral fee funds and at that time I was told it could a couple weeks to receive funds. After a couple of weeks I followed-up and that was when I was told my name wasn't on application so I won't be receiving anything. If you choose to refer someone don't look for a referral fee unless you complete application on your own computer. NO MORE REFERRALS FROM ME!
P.S. Loan processing was fine and they worked payments within my budget. Just don't like game playing & they could have told me from the first phone call that their employee didn't put name on application and I wouldn't wasted their time or mine.

The absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had by manager Dave. It was so bad I had to hang up on him. I will no longer deal with this office any further. I will be taking this up with Doug Shoulman. I’m glad I had the entire conversation recorded on my phone.
